Sims 4 Countdown!

Post by Keika »

The countdown has begun! As of the moment I'm writing this, there's 14 hours left to go until release!

So, do you guys have the game preordered and/or preloaded? What are you planning to do first? Are you going to stay up late, take the day off work, or anything else special today? Tell us!

Good plan! I haven't dared watch any let's plays or even try the CAS demo, because they've already got my money, and I'm already pumped, and I know if I try any of that, I'm going to be alternatively banging my head against the wall and watching the clock for when I can finally play. XD

I've got the game preordered and preloaded, and the button's all ready for me to try this evening! Granted, I'll be at work until about 10:30, 11 o'clock, so I'll have to wait that much longer to play. But hey. It's there. ^^ I'm going to open the game and probably step right into CAS, even if I try default houses first to get gameplay down! ^^

You have to let me know how the save game plays out!!!Is TS3 style where you have different save files or TS2 style where you basically have to reset the whole game to start fresh, thats the only thing thats really bugging me about the game. But other than that Im super excited about it and ive even contemplated just taking money out of my savings to buy it right when it comes out, which would be no good because i work mon-thurs and Id only really have time to play it on the weekend anyway

TS3 style is having different save files, and TS2 lets you control a whole neighborhood of sims. Personally, I prefer that style of gameplay, even though resetting it meant you had to dig into the game's files to find the original version of the neighborhood. But hey, to each his own! I will DEFINITELY post all about how the save game plays go!

I just get bored easily and I dont like complicated things (see my ts4 personality diagnostic lol) and that was the easiest for me. I like to play one house hold of sims several times and have them make different choices almost like they are living in several AUs haha

A little over 12 hours!!!!! I'll be installing it tonight when I can (it releases at 10 p.m.) so I'll have a few hours to play before bed. I'll probably get sucked in and end up playing until early morning. I've worked some hours this weekend so I can take tomorrow off. :)
