Somewhat-Belated Introduction

Hello, Boolprop! In a rather OOC fashion for me, I went and jumped right into making stories without looking around for an introduction board first, so I've already started writing stuff without even bothering to introduce myself.
My name is Anya, and I've been playing The Sims since the '90s, when I was but a child. I own all the games (though not all the expansion packs for each game), but am rather loyal to Sims 2. I've always found 2 to be the most story-friendly, and the fact that only one household ages or does anything at a time means that it's compatible with my tendency towards heavy micromanagement.
As for non-Sims-related things, I'm an aspiring novelist and crazy cat lady in the making, I have a mild case of ADHD, and I like studying languages in my spare time (when I'm not playing Sims, that is).
Since I went and jumped the gun with story-writing, I already have a BACC and an Uglacy going. The BACC is using a career-oriented rather than population-explosion-oriented approach, where I go for business-opening rather than baby-booming; the Uglacy may very well be evidence that my medication isn't strong enough. I also love reading everyone else's challenges, and look forward to finding more of them.
