Boolprop hosts a lot of events and we have competitions between houses. You can join one and play games to earn your house points! The reward is a nice medal you can pin on your profile when you win. Here's a link to more details

Hello and welcome! I'm new here too, and have LOTS of fond memories of Sims 2. I'm firmly entrenched in Sims 4 at the moment, though. LOL. As for 3, the only thing you're missing out on is the lag and buggyness of it. Which you can surely do without. I can truly say, the only thing I really miss from 3 are the supernaturals and the horses.
