Definitely have a difficult relationship with my state. Born and raised here but always had big dreams of elsewhere. The last few years have me wistful though. Actually owning a home (spent my childhood constantly on the move) has given me a feeling of real roots.
No view is better than the one from my front porch. Which I guess makes me a true hoosier.
