Had fun with my first (non-Boolprop) NaNoWriMo last year and figured I'd share the support now. In my time zone we're only an hour off from the official start.

Unlike last year I actually have a rough outline and feel good about finishing (which I did not, 37k words). My ideas all go back to being vaguely morbid drama/mysteries with lesbians, with this one involving a surly old woman, her niece, and her crumbling beach house. Asking my brother to scout out locations on a vacation to the area I was thinking of didn't pan out quite as planned but I appreciate his effort.

I have no idea what you all want to share but determine that yourselves!

I'm working on a cyberpunk story this year. Haven't planned the entire yet, just about 28 chapters or so, hoping that's enough to break 50k.

Oh, and I'll be trying to do it by hand. Should be fun.

I'm doing a superhero adventure, we need better ones in this day and age and I hope I can do it. I already have a cover of it and a title, just waiting for tomorrow to start it.

I have 12 planned but I can get wordy. So that's for you to judge but the theme sounds great!

Got to 1641 words so far and missed posting for the first by ONE FREAKIN MINUTE!! I was in the zone.

EDIT: 2326 now. I think that's pretty good for 12:36 am.

Very nice, Ani! I got up to 2,303 words myself yesterday. Trying to hit at least 2k each day.

Current count is 3861. Haven't even begun to superhero yet. I'm still in the prologue.

This is my first year participating!
Totally winging a pulpy 80s space opera project hit 6061 words this morning. Cannot praise the experience enough at this point, working on this has kept me grounded while everything else feels out of control.

If they try to take away our escapism, we create our own here on Boolprop.

5 days in and over 10,000 words deep!!
1/5 of the way there, wow.

I have also passed the 10k mark today! Granted, I'm a few hundred words shy of meeting the daily goal, but I was in my course during the time I normally use to write, so I still consider this a win.
