Round 35 Theme: Sandwiches!
I'm way late updating this round, and my list of things and ideas is at home (and I'm at work), but I was SO BEHIND I had to just come in here and get a new round going.
That said - it's SANDWICH time! Show me what you can smash between two pieces of bread.
This round will end on or around Nov 15th. Maybe.

I'm at work at this is my go to sandwich:

2 slices of mature cheese, 2 slices of chorizo, 2 slices of salami then a butt load of Cajun sauce. Lettuce optional but I'd run out this morning
It's not the most glamorous but it's quick to make in the morning and I spend all morning excited to eat it

The oven version of the croquette is actually quite good and I'm glad they exist because I don't own a deep fryer.

My boyfriend was like "HEY LET'S PUT CHICKEN NUGGETS ON A SANDWICH!" and I wasn't going to stop him in one of his sandwich inspiration moments. This is a sandwich on a naan round with two cut up chicken nuggets, beet slaw (which is basically coleslaw with added beets and kale), garlic mayo, and sriracha. It worked and my boyfriend has declared that we're going to make these sandwiches again, so woo~
