The Koch legacy

The idea....

The Sims 4 Build a Town Challenge.- by TuringBerlin

The point of this ruleset is that it is relatively easy to understand and follow, without having to create complicated spreadsheets, flow diagrams or whatnot.

Start with a completely blank neighbourhood, and create your founder in CAS. You may pick the aspiration and traits of your founder. By a completely blank neighbourhood, I mean delete all residential and commercial lots, and delete all the households that used to live in them.

Move you founder into one of the smallest lots available and use the money cheat to set funds to 0.

The object of the game is to rebuild the town, but with an important restriction imposed to make the game that much harder / more fun.

Everything in the game must be purchased by the people in it. You may not exploit the 20,000 donation that the game gifts new sims. You may accept rewards from social events and careers.

So for example if you want to complete that Athletic Aspiration, first you are going to have to build a gym, reduce a households worth by the cost of the gym in order to get that phase of that particular aspiration completed. Same with any other aspirations that the game requires venues to complete.

When your founder moves in a spouse, spare or any other character you must use the money cheat to reset the money to what is was before the move.

If you decide to move sims out of the household the combined household worth of both subsequent families must not exceed that of the original household.

The object of the game is to re(build) up the town, complete with venues families and storylines. Best of luck.

Wow, that sounds really challenging! You've really set a big goal for yourself. Good luck! :)

Oh, by the way, your second link doesn't seem to be working.
Spoiler:
I loved the line about putting the babies in a cupboard. :haha: Great start!

Good story!
I like the daily log too!

If you like sim stories that combine challenges with celebrities and Final Fantasy references sprinkled throughout, than this is the story for you-even if you don't. Special thanks to all the simmers who uploaded your creations on Origin! A few sims and buildings are my creations.
