Yeah, having failed at both challenges before, this is sort of my attempt at redemption I guess? We'll see if I can pull it off and actually have a kid with the right genetics without having my couple have like 20 kids or something. I wanted to do something a little different, without having to worry about a story/points/rules (well other than the hair and eye requirements), but this just might be more challenging than all that!

I’ve always wanted to finish both, so I thought why not combine them? Thanks! I’m (hopefully) up to the challenge. I know the boys are so cute! It makes me sad they can’t be heir.

They really aren't. I should have remembered why I stopped my previous attempt at this challenge lol, but I'm not giving up yet. They are cute! I really wish a couple of them could have been heir, but luck wasn't on their side.

New chapter up now!

Spoiler:
I get you about them not being heirs! Its always hard when you love a kid but need something specific for heirship xD

Aaand baby 6 wasn't the chosen one *sighs* it's so weird! It usually never taks that pongo to have a kid with the same genetics as a parent!
Also, I don't know why but I haven't had that glitch of the floating plates lol. I wonder what's causing it

I always liked the Perfect Genes challenge, but I feel like it's a lot harder in TS4 than it was in TS3? Maybe that's just me. I hope you're able to get your heir soon though!

Spoiler:
It is! I could maybe use them for a future challenge. I'm definitely saving Alec in case I want to do a challenge with him.
I'm just unlucky? Or maybe it's because I'm using unnatural colors? Who knows. I'm hoping that I'll get an heir soon! I have no idea what's causing it either, but it's kind of funny. Ghost plates!

I think it is a bit harder. Though I might have made it harder on myself for choosing unnatural colors?

After a bit of a break, it's time for a new chapter, and some changes in the rules. Thanks for sticking with me!

Thanks for reading! :)
Spoiler:
I’m glad you liked all the kids. Because they were so cute, that’s why I decided to change things. I didn’t want to just leave them behind if that makes sense. Next generation I’ll get to spend more time with them, I hope. I can’t wait to show the first generation b baby. They’re very cute!

Spoiler:
Awwwn it's a shame that non of the kids got the eyes and colour, but yeah, it was definitely for the best to change the rules for this! it's not worthy to keep playing a savefile if you're not having fun anymore!
I'm already excited for generation B babies~! So that's a good sign! xD

Spoiler:
It seems to be that seven kids is my breaking point because that's what happened last time I tried a Perfect Genetics challenge. Yeah it just wasn't fun because I felt like I wasn't getting attached to the kids, especially the last few because there was no chance of them being heir. I'm glad you're excited for them! I've seen the first one, and they're very cute. :) Thanks for reading!

Yeah, I guess things don't work out sometimes, but now I know. I do have some of his first chapter partially written, so it should be up soon. Thanks for reading!

Spoiler:
Totally reasonable to scale back the genetic requirements when you're playing an alphabetacy as well!! There's already tons at play here, creating a pink army is enough. :cheeky:

What a cute, colorful bunch - I'm glad you've chose to stick with them.

Yes aplhabetacies are a lot of work without factoring in genetics. It would have been nice if it worked, but I didn't want to be stuck on each generation forever! Pink hair will have to do. :heavybreathing:

Thanks! I'm hoping to get a new chapter up this weekend as they're a fun bunch to play.
