Things You've Said While Playing Sims

I saw this topic on MTS (for Sims 2) and thought it would be just as fun here.
ElizabethTerry wrote:We all know Sims are semi-unintelligent creatures who need our guidance throughout their lives. What have you said when your Sims get on your last nerve?
Besides cursing and the occasional "YESSS *air guitar solo*", my interjections are usually along the lines of:
"Please don't die, please don't die"
"Why won't you die?!"
"WHY ARE YOU PASSING OUT NEXT TO THE TENT?!"
"...was that a sign of corruption? ;_; "

Hahaha believe it or not, a lot of cursing too haha.

Normally something along the lines of "oh f@£k off" when a sim does something annoying,

or "SIM, JUST EFFING MOVE"

I'm glad we all ride the expletive train :bounce:

Personally, I find myself going "Wha..why?!"

However, most recently I have found myself screaming "Stop wasting our money on food!"

I often have to stop playing after many rounds of "WHY ARE YOU WATCHING TV?? I TOLD YOU TO DO THIS!" and "WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO MEEEEE? D:"

Sims often like to follow the beat of their own drum I've found. :P

I uh, turned off the free will only because they keep trying to move when I want them to stay put so I can get a good portrait done. Sims 3 is irritating that way. Also the pool, I can't keep them out of it.

When I'm trying to BNTM shots, I have to turn off freewill because of the same reason. "Just keep sitting! I need you to look cute!" is a pretty good summary. Of course, I sometimes forget to turn it on again. This leads to all the fail.

Sounds of a typical simming session with Gryffindork:

*mimicking the "whoosh" and "sul sul" plumbob animation*
*whistling along to loading music*
"WHY ARE YOU SO SLOOOOW"
"Wait, why aren't you at school?"
"Get out of the dishwasher, you freak."
"Alright, who left the baby in the snow again?"
"Ooooh boy, you need a makeover."
*trying to pronounce the obscure, misspelled name of just-born townie offspring*
"Sh*t, I said pause!!"
"Noooooo!"
"F********* yoouuuuu..."
*hysterical faux-sobbing*

Basically my playing is 60% sound effects, 30% expletives and 10% real words... No one listening would ever believe that I enjoy this game. :P

Omg I'm so guilty of "Wait, why aren't you at school?". So many of my children have skipped school without me noticing.

I said to my sim at the time, who was for some reason keen on missing the carpool, "Get off your lazy butt, and go to work!" (As my sick ex is sitting beside me, playing xbox, after calling out from work....)

OH FUDGE. (I accidentally deleted a sim with moveobjects on yesterday, freaked out for a minute until I remembered that it isn't a big deal.)

I have, on occasion, called certain sims all kinds of mean names, then remembered that they were just townies, and I could totally destroy them. :diablo:

There is also a lot of "Wait, what?" and "But, I TOOOOOLD you to do ..." and "HAHAHAHHAAAA! I can't make this stuff up!" or "You read my mind!"

It's a fair balance, actually, which is, I suppose, one reason I like this game. It's both challenging and rewarding.

Im guilty of humming to loading music and Im sure I curse and mutter stuff but cant recall anything, I know I get annoyed if Ive brought I radio to listen to the pop station and find they have turned it off

I know something I randomly do as Im in game, say no or go away when people ring and ask if my sim if available or say why havent you gotten on that school bus yet and the ones where random sims come over and you get the pop up that says you offered me to spend the night and now im leaving and im like did i?or when i notice that their homework witn D and i go i dont know where they put thier frigging homework to make them do it then i hover over them until its complete

Im editing this post as things pop up

i say of for godsake when they lose friends riight before coming home for a work promotion
say get off when a sim is hogging the pc when i want another sim to do term paper
I wiggle to the radio while playing and ignore all my sims
say no when i tell my sim to go the wrong thing
Mutter the commands i give them

Said last night:

"Stop effing glitching you vibrating dingus!" (I managed to get a sim with a bad jump glitch that I think has to do with a new mod I put in loading wrong or in the wrong order, so tonight I am testing this further.)

"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Wait, why are you doing that?"
"Don't do that!"
"Seriously, Stop!"
"OMG, this is why you must die/move out"
"Stupid Sims"

In a house with multiple adults/teens and only one toddler.

"Just put down the frickin' toddler already!"

Seriously toddlers don't need ten baths a day.

When two sims are autonomously woohooing... "Don't you dare get pregnant or I will set you on fire."

Lol, Julie!!

I don't realize how impatient I am until I'm over here like:
"Come'on now... SOMETIME today!"
"Yes yes, stare at the wall all day I just need you... to look... this... DIRECTION."
(sees Majnun's face) (snorts)
"My BABIES! Look how precious you are!"
"ACK WHO DID THIS? WHO? Me...? Shit."
"Come now, let's move you over here."
"Yes, yes, have a seat over there sweetheart, you're just fine. You precious you."

Hilariously I spend more of my time gushing over my babies then I do getting frustrated.

"Stop cleaning! You're ruining the storyline" the kids in a house that has a servant to do all the cleaning. But the youngest kids are all neatniks and randomly clean. That's buddy, you're cute, but you're messing up the character I had for you.
