While I'm not new at Sims 4, I'm very new to adding CC and Mods to the game. I've been playing pretty vanilla for a while and I want to start spicing it up. However, I need a bit of help finding things I may want or need.

For example, I know that in vanilla game, it's hard to pass down unnatural hair colors. I've seen some other simmers able to pass it down, but I'm unsure if it's a mod or some other workaround. If someone could explain it?

Also is there any other mods or CC that would be recommended? I'm aware of MC Commander.

From the top of my head, these are pretty much it. I am pretty picky about where the mods and CC come so I don't have much. And you already know about MCCC.

I'm really picky about my cc, too. My pickiness comes from anxiety and a habitual need to keep my game looking a certain way. If my cc doesn't look natural in the environment, I have a tiny spaz attack.

And as soon as I posted, I remembered that My Sims 3 Blog created one for TS4.

Woohoo Wellness and Pregnancy Overhaul Mod - this mod gives your sims more options for pregnancy. You could have a sim that has the hates children trait put her baby up for adoption, or a same sex couple have a baby through IVF or a surrogate. Wonderful Whims - I just downloaded this one last weekend. It adds an attraction system to the game. You can set your Sims preferences in regards to gender, hair color, body type, etc or let the game assign them randomly. You can send your sim to a public venue and have them scan the area. You get a notification if they find anyone attractive. It adds some new sentiments and additional personality traits. https://wonderfulwhims.com/

Both Wonderful Whims and the WooHoo Wellness mod have options that can either be disabled or come as separate install files that can just not add to your game depending on how realistic you want your game to be or what things you are comfortable with.
