Me and my boyfriend are exchanging very small, terrible gifts on the day (we're not big on Valentine's but the commerciial-ness of it gets us every year) and we might be going out for a meal on the weekend

I have to spend the actual day/night of working, so my boyfriend and I probably won't do anything official until I'm off on Thursday or Friday. We might make a nice dinner before my shift tomorrow night, and we'll exchange small gifts and cards...though I still have to get him something.

I am no longer a perpetually single cat lady (for now, anyways ), so I actually have plans on Valentine's day this year! After I finish class I'm out with my boyfriend to see the Lego Batman movie (super romantic, I know) and go out for dinner.

Yes, for the first time I will actually have a boyfriend to go out somewhere with on Valentine's Day. He knows this really nice Italian restaurant in Ottawa (where he lives and where I am now) but not sure what else we'll be doing tomorrow.

We don't celebrate anything. In fact, on a good year, he might remember my birthday. I repay him in kind by forgetting his right back. It's how we roll.

It been a while *cough*years*cough* since I've been in anyway interested in romance or dating that it typically passes me by. I'm just going to go to work, sell the cards and the cute valentines kids books we have. Oh and try my hardest on the 15th to get the discount chocolate. That and give my kitty lots of chin scratches and maybe a few extra treats.

My husband had to work. I bought him some chocolates and a nice card. He brought home an awesome adult coloring book for me! We will probably go out for dinner this weekend.

Hope everybody had a lovely valentine's day, and enjoy any plans made for later this week/weekend! I will be leaving the events open until the 18th, to give everybody a few more days to participate. :happyheart:
