Coloure Wheel: Genetics Roulette Challenge

Ok, so while I always say I want to finish something before I start something, I got all played up and scheduled posts for the ISBI to have an heir poll and my Name Game to have an heir poll and instead of just playing through more of my EPIC I decided to give the genetics challenge a quick go. It's only 14 kids (I say that like it's nothing, but it's a lot for me) so it should go decently quickly. So I will post the update below and we will see what kind of luck we get. I have seen people struggle to get anything but the parent's genetics and others who seem to get some variety, so we will see what camp I am in.
UPDATES:
Coloure Wheel: Introduction
Coloure Wheel: Get Together
Coloure Wheel: Age Up!
Coloure Wheel: Birthdays!
Coloure Wheel: Skilling Away
Coloure Wheel: Gender Reveal

Yes, I feel confident I can actually finish this one. :)
Spoiler:
It usually does to me too, but on Charlene I really like the white, I think she looks very pretty.

What a lovely start. Your family is good-looking and sweet. I look forward to seeing the babies. I had a feeling you would be trying this challenge too. I'm glad you are as we are at the same progress. My couple is pregnant with their first too!

Yeah, this felt like a nice easy, short, challenge I could probably actually complete when I've got the heir polls going, or ready to go. The Otts poll ends today and the Latte's poll starts Saturday I think, so this was a great filler. I love my EPIC, but didn't want to play TOO far ahead in that. :) I have played them up through having 4 kids, so there are more updates to come soon

It is really fun, and it's pretty easy overall, and short. I need more short challenges in my life...I like to do the really LONG ones and then wonder why it takes me forever to finish. :D

So yeah, this posted this morning, but I was busy enough I didn't get this updated. So enjoy this update. This challenge family will take the place of any challenge that is sitting in an heir poll (in this case the Latte's) so once the Latte's a back we probably won't play it for a little bit. Just fair warning, but it will be back.

Coloure Wheel: Age Up!

Spoiler:
sims have glitches, no not three toddlers, maybe you can age the other two up a little earlier than planned. The twins look identical but I think Christine mouth is smaller than the other one whose name I have completely forgot (sorry)

Spoiler:
They do have glitches. I'm also pretty sure Meg (the name you couldn't remember) and Christine are identical I've played them to children and I'm pretty sure they are identical. :) They are cute though.

Spoiler:
I love the ghosts just hanging out. I do wonder why they want food. Surely they don't need it!

Well at least the twins got you a little closer to completing the challenge.

I wonder why it's taking the twins so long to age up? I've never had an overlap in the baby stage.

Yay for just one baby! I might be forgetting, but what's your naming theme or do you have one?

All the kids are cute!

Spoiler:
The ghosts eating food just always cracks me up.

The twins clearly glitched in some way that kept them from growing up. I had to actually reset then.

I do have a naming theme, but I have not specified what it was. I was curious if anyone would figure it out. :)
Spoiler:
Broadway (more specifically longest-running Broadway shows)
The girls are adorable so far, and I love that they are different. Excited to see what else I get. \

Spoiler:
I love musicals, but I am honestly blanking on these names, except maybe Christine from Phantom of the Opera? Now that I think about it there was a character in that named Meg too? It's been a while since I saw it.

It's always rough having so many toddlers at once!

I love the pictures with all of the toddlers coming out to get breakfast. So cute!

Yes Malcolm needs so much more money. The Landgraabs are practically broke.

Maybe you'll have 14 girls.

All 3 girls grew up super cute!

Spoiler:
I'm a bit of a musicals nerd, and since I started playing this right after going to see Jekyll and Hyde I decided to use names from the longest-running broadway shows, the top of which is still Phantom of the Opera, and my favorite of all time. :)

I love musicals too, but you are right about Christine, she's the lead in Phantom, Meg is her best friend in the musical (dancer and daughter of Mad'm Giry) and then Carlotta is the diva in Phantom. So all 3 girls names are from Phantom. That mostly runs out of the female names you know in that musical, there aren't a TON of names in that play, but the next longest is Chicago, so that's where Velma came from. :) I have tried to put a little information about their names in the family tree. :D

That lotto was just too funny, and I hope I don't have all girls. I want to use some boys names too. lol

I do love all 3 of these girls so far, they are so cute!

Spoiler:
I love when the ghosts are actually helpful.

Charlene is making a great face there.

Velma's a cutie with the white hair! Do you just have cc that allows toddlers and kids the extra swatches, or is it a completely different mod?

I've noticed my sims wearing their outwear more too. It's weird.

Woo another baby! I feel like my genetic roulette family has more boys, but maybe I'm imagining it.

Spoiler:
It's not really CC, but I guess it's closer to that than to a full mod. Not all of the hairstyles are able to go to white on a toddler, but any of the ones the creator did (which is most of them up to the last few packs) can have any of the colors passed down to them. I thought that should work, but it doesn't, of course, do the eyebrows, just the hair. I do like all of these kids, but next time I do this I will pick other colors I think so I don't have to try and mod in the white hairs or any other color. It would have been nice to have those all passed down.

So far these guys are very girl heavy. I'm about ready to have Charlene eat some carrots. lol
