Sometimes those events just aren't meant to happen - I had Brittany do one and no matter how many times she socialized, nothing counted. Then at the last minute everything started counting and she barely popped into silver. Of course she was only needing to make three drinks during any event so I wasn't really worried about the party itself, but if I throw one, I want the shiny gold, or at least silver, from having one, right?

I have a feeling that I'll stop with the big birthday parties and just create a family reunion holiday so that all the family can come over lol or maybe just do non-goaled events. We'll see

I added a family reunion holiday to my OWBC calendar just for that reason. I needed one more winter holiday and decided that would be a good time to invite back all family that had moved out. The only scored event I do well is the date. That I can get gold easily. The rest are so stressful
