Welcome to my latest challenge that I'll probably not complete, but I'm going to try anyway! I'm giving the Baby Boomers challenge a shot. I just have to have one couple have at least 24 children, or however many it takes to have 12 girls and 12 boys. I'm hoping that I won't have to go too many over 24 kids, but we'll see what fun my game decides to throw my way!

I am incapable of taking things slowly. XD I always try but I make them try for a baby or ACR has them woohoo and suddenly they're pregnant within an hour of moving in. It'll work well for this challenge since they need to have so many kids, but it's a problem with other challenges. :lol:

I love your family! Also, I'm super glad I found this comment thread, I don't have a live journal so I couldn't comment before! Your sims are gorgeous and I love the house! I'll be reading! ^^

I have a mod that allows for more than 8 sims in a household. I've been using it for years and couldn't stand to get rid of it, even if it does mean I can get through this quicker than if I was playing without mods.

Just read all five updates at once. I love this challenge, and admire you for doing it. You make it look so easy in your updates haha, I know one of my sims would have died or something by now. I dont know how you manage to keep them all alive, never mind all the challenges and skilling you're doing too!

My computer barely handles 8 Sims in a house, lol. Props to you!

I honestly don't know how I'm doing it either. It's easier now that so many of the kids are teenagers and can take care of themselves, but whenever they're not eating or sleeping, I make them skill mostly so that I KNOW they'll be okay. XD

Having a lot of Sims in a household slows down my game a little bit, but it's not too bad. Or at least it's not too bad right now. It might change as they keep having kids and there are more Sims in the neighborhood and stuff. We'll just have to see!

Not but seriously you're doing amazingly in this challenge! The girls have clearly overtaken the boys here though, which is the same problem I had for the first couple of challenges.

Thank you! I'm trying to try new stuff in the game, and part of that is making landscaping look nice and not just be a tree and some flowers lining the path to the front door. So I'm glad that you think it looks good. :)

I can't take full credit for the house since it's a TS4 house made by someone else that I'm recreating in my own game. I really like how it turned out though, and I might end up recreating it in a blank neighborhood so I can use it for a legacy challenge (which I want to attempt after this). I'm also really hoping that when I play today or tomorrow, they have some more boys. For a little bit, the ratio of boys to girls was even, but now the girls have pulled ahead again and I'm nervous because I have more boy names than girl names. :lol:
