I decided to start a new OWBC because my previous one was in a 'hood that had a LOT of Sims and I was going kind of crazy trying to play all of them. So this time I'm going to play just this one family and not touch the spares. Hopefully this will help me to finish the challenge!
For finishing the challenge and posting it to your blog (3 Points)
BoolProp Naming Scheme (10 Points)
Beyond Cheesy (10 Points)
MOAR ALIENS X-TREME (15 Points)
Base Game
For obtaining an alien through a legit abduction (3 Points)
For going one whole generation, from birth to birth, without getting ANY promotions (3 Points)
For having a gnome to guard your flamingos and having your Sims always go to fetch it back (3 Points)
Nightlife
The heir/ess for each generation must go on one date via the gypsy and see it through to completion. They may do this as a teen, young adult, adult or elder. (3 Points, 1 Point for each heir/ess)
Every heir/ess is a Grilled Cheese Sim. (3 Points, 1 Point for each heir/ess)
For creating a vampire. (3 Points)
FreeTime
You may not have a car unless it is the junker that you fixed up yourself for the lot. (3 Points)
Heir and Spouse must reach Level 10 in their Predestined Hobby. (3 Points, 1 Point for each heir/ess couple)
Obtain a Genie. (3 Points)

I've got another update today! Updates will probably be out fairly often because I'm really liking this family and I just want to keep playing them, which is a good sign!
Oooh you're starting a new OWBC! I might try this one after I finish the Baby Boom. Haven't decided yet.

I love all the kids, but Orik is secretly my favorite, so I'm hoping that he wins. He's just so cute, and I don't often have Sims in the intelligence career, so it would be super fun to have a "spy" in the family.
And remember that you can keep voting for the heir here. I'll keep it up for a few more days. Although there's a very clear winner right now, so I might just call it.

Thanks! I'm feeling really good about this one, so I think this will end up being my first completed OWBC.

So as of right now, my game is being a total butt and keeps crashing on me. I repaired the game through Origin, I took out my CC, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing worked. So until I can figure out what the problem is or get a new computer (which I can’t afford right now) all of my stuff is on hiatus. I’ll still be here liking stuff and posting occasional screenshots from my Xbox video games, but I can’t play Sims 2 right now.

I have another update today! Luckily I was able to get my game to load, so hopefully I won't have any more problems with it.
sometimes the sims can be so inconsiderate with this vampire unfriendly work schedules. i also break things and exit the house hoping nobody will notice.

I too love the family, so much so that I played again and have another update today.
