Défi Adolescent Immortel: Épilogue (1.12.19) COMPLETE

So I'm doing the Immortal Teenager Challenge with my game set to French settings because I'm crazy and I need the practice. I was too afraid to flip my TS3 game over because I need to know that game inside-out for my stories, so TS4 was the way to go! So here's the story of Lucie Rousseau and her guardian Loser Lisa Martin the jerkface! Come watch me fumble around in a language I have budding knowledge of! Watch me totally ruin this poor girl's life for points! FYI the writing is all in English with a few French phrases tossed in here and there for my practice. The practice for me from this is mostly reading text and seeing it in context/navigating the game entirely in French NOT from writing it!
Disclaimer: I have a potty mouth and I use it, in both English and French.

Chapters
Zéro: Comme notre argent
Un: La femme citronnée
Deux: Ado Romantique
Trois: Un feu ne blesse jamais personne
Quatre: J'ai fait don d'une poubelle
Cinq: Oups-un-bébé
Six: La Finale
Épilogue: Une nouvelle vie, un nouveau défi

Great start!
Spoiler:
You're really dedicated to try playing Sims in French!! I'd probably break something or set them on fire within 2 days.

You can give lots traits?

Why are Sims so slow sometimes in TS4?! Drives me mad.

Conjugating just to say you did it, haha.

Why is first person Sims even a thing? It looks weird.

Ugh, Lisa would have been given a long stay in a 1x1 box if she carried on being constantly mean to a Sim of mine.

Poor Lucie!!

Enjoyed reading this, though I didn't understand any of what they were saying in the screenshots!!

I love that you're challenging yourself by playing in another language. I can't wait for more! :)

I love it - almost makes me want to play in another language - almost, but not really.

Spoiler:
Loser Lisa really needs to be crushed by a truck. Stop making Lucie’s life plus difficile!!
I’m loving your attempts to play this in French, it makes me want to have a go doing something like this (although I haven’t studied a language at school for about 9 years so that could be interesting...)
I can’t wait for more!! :rotfl:

Ahh! Thanks for all the positive feedback! I was really just messing around and thought "hell, I'll flip my game into French, it'll be good practice!" Gave me a heart-attack when none of my old saves showed up, but I realized it's because it made a whole new sims folder for it... so I decided to roll with it and just start a new challenge for this variation alone. It's been crazy fun, and a little time-consuming. XD

Yes you can give lots traits! They're kinda useless though to be honest. A few do good things but they felt cheaty considering one repairs all broken objects and the other gives you free money, so I just did a few ones like Teen Hangout and Good Schools to help boost her schools and chance of meeting other teens.

Sims REALLY are slow in TS4. They have no sense of urgency, even when they're about to pee themselves! Drives me nuts!

Conjugating... is my worst enemy, especially in these complicated Latin-derived languages. All those add in the extra to-be verb conjugated JUST SO... bleh!

YEAh tell me about it! It's a neat concept but first person sims is just too much. There's no way I can play that way! It makes me dizzy. At least I remembered to change my keybinds.

Thank you! I wish I could put Lisa in a flippin box. Drove me NUTS! At least now I can mostly ignore her, Lucie's doing ok on her own now, I still feel bad though. Everyone else who did this challenge seemed to have FANTASTIC guardians and I got stuck with this loser... :hissyfit:

Thank you! I hope I don't regret it later, but so far it's been excellent practice for me.

Incoming right now!

Haha, it's been a fun challenge all and all! The Immortal challenge has too, ;) It's worthwhile if you're mostly familiar with another language. French and I have a... mostly solid foundation so it's been not horrible to navigate. At the very least it's a fun experiment.

I KNOW! I REALLY want her crushed a truck after that! What a way to nearly murder my teen!
Haha, believe me it's a lot of fun. I've been learning French solidly for about 3 months now. I study for an hour everyday. It's going slow but steady, and I decided I needed to start challenging myself and immersing myself if I ever wanted to get any better than just slightly familiar with the language so here I am... Thanks for the support! I honestly didn't think many would find this that interesting since it's in a language most can't read!
Anywhooo! Got one more! Not as funny because I was just trying to get the rest of my pictures caught up, and I'm headed back in. Hopefully this challenge won't take forever...

Quatre: J'ai fait don d'une poubelle
Heads up, the title is probably spelled/worded incorrectly. Blamsart had gone to bed after I posted it, and she usually does a French check on my shit. French is a surprisingly hard language to pick up, so I'm so grateful she's been helping me with some of the trickier wording and conjugating.

I’m loving this so much. All the antics Lucie and Wolfgang get up to, all of Caleb’s (questionable) fashion choices, and the ever-present annoyance that is Lisa :#1:

Thank you guys so much! Poor Caleb... His protests went completely ignored!

Anyways I have the last part of the CHALLENGE finished and ready to share. My final point count is 3,169! The challenge is complete, buuuuut I'm not quite done with Lucie, so I'll be reviewing the rules to another challenge and then going into game to get her epilogue. In the meanwhile:
