A Challenge for February!!



We are setting you a challenge for February!!

It is quick, it's fun and for February ONLY ....
it will earn you a Pulper Star and a winners choice medal if you complete our challenge!!

Through a process of elimination, find your sims one true love.

Open up your sims game
Complete a Bachelor/Bachelorette challenge.
Blog it for us to see.



It does not matter which rule set you use to do your Bachelor challenge,
there are many varied rule sets around the web, you can even create your own.

We do have the rules to a Sims 2 Bachelor challenge on Boolprop
that can be used by all versions of the sims.

or why not spice it up a little,
because after all, true love does not always run smoothly!!!

The Basic rules for an uncomplicated Bachelor challenge
A hands off, free will, death trap version that I play with Sims 3,
that can be played by any version of the Sims.

Set up a house however you want to.
Provide them with everything they need to live comfortable.
Provide them with a range of activity items, that will help them to interact with each other.
(eg ... guitar, chess, dominoes, pool, ping pong table ect)
Provide them with a few items that are "dangerous" and cause a disasters, even death.
(eg .. Cheap cooker / fireplace / inventing table that will set fires easily, jelly bean bushes, vending machines and death trap beds ect)

choose your Bachelor / Bachelette and place them in the house with 7 sims of the opposite sex
or same sex if they have a gay gender preference.
A mix of 50/50 of male and female if the sim has a bisexual gender preference.

Leave your sims TOTALLY to FREE WILL, even your Bachelor sim.
As soon as you start the challenge you no longer control any of your sims.
Not even if they are doing something that will result in their death ... you just sit back and watch.

Let them mingle and get to know each other for three days.
On the fourth day the sim with the lowest friendship with the Bachelor sim is evicted from the house.
Every day after that at midnight ... the sim with the lowest friendship is evicted,
until you are eventually left with one sim besides your Bachelor.

From the fifth day it is optional if you do the group activities and get together's
that most rule sets instruct you to do.

If your Bachelor dies at any time .... you have failed the challenge

NOT on the Boolprop Challenge Story board.

Think I'll play with your casual rules as given above: fun, but not too taxing.

Also, I may add a supernatural twist... because me, have normal characters? NEVER!

Same. I love my supernaturals. I just have no idea who to choose for it, I'll probably do one in Sims 3 because it's working again and it's like an addict falling off the wagon.

Yes, writing this all in one took several hours and took the time I wanted to play Sims tonight, especially to get Caspian's Epilogue played and photographed so I can write it up. I don't like starting a long play session at midnight because I get so into it, 5 am comes before I realize it.

My people & house are made, play will start tomorrow (or tonight if I get too eager). I'll probably do the loose rules version.. though I see I need to go back in and add some things that can croak people. LOL I random-rolled all traits & such, so it should be fun to see who gravitates (and the guys get stuck sleeping in bunk beds. LOL)
