Go on ahead and borrow the ideas, I've borrowed quite a few ideas from other sim players myself. That's why it's so awesome that the sims has such a great community!
Yes my game is currently going crazy with quads which is funny since I never changed the default odds since I first started playing Elwood Rose. I guess the game just wants me to populate the town faster!

For uni, it depends... on a general level I've been pretending as if each uni semester is equal to 1 day in the main hood. Therefore, since each rotation is 7 days long, I've been playing Uni in 3 installments (2 days, 2 days & 3 days). The only reason I'm splitting university into three parts rather than playing it as a whole update for the rotation is due to the fact that although I enjoy playing university, I find it gets boring if I spend too much time playing it consecutively.

Man those kids grow up so fast. Soon they'll be starting families of their own. I love the businesses these updates. Especially the bookstore and the hair salon. I never though about putting mirrors in front of the chairs like that.

Excellent updates! The genie wish for peace of mind makes your sim perma-plat, so very useful with sims with an awkward LTW. I am also really in awe of your business acumen. I definitely couldn't cope with that many, or come up with that many cool ideas.

I've actually finished playing all of Week 11 already (I have a lot of updates waiting to be posted!!) and I'm noticing just how big Elwood Rose is becoming due to all of the kids setting up their own households! There are 24 different households in this rotation!!

Thanks for explaining the genie wish! It will come in handy for sims with 'impossible' LTWs such as 20 pet best friends...
For business ideas, usually I open the sims buy mode catalog, choose a section (such as baths & showers) and set-up a business selling those items! It's been working for me so far but now I'm running out of buy mode items!
