Woodpine Valley is my latest attempt at the Build a City Challenge. I'm using Nepheris's rules with a few twists: my population goal is 25,000 instead of 50,000; I'm allowing myself to unlock business districts like in the original rules instead, and I can also have multiple; after the first university, additional universities can be unlocked for another 1,000,000 (more like the original). Other than that, everything stays the same.

Luckily I have it set to post once an hour on my tumblr. My queue is all set up until Sunday, but I'm going to play more sometime this week and add more to it so it doesn't run out.

I was so excited for it to start posting, so I'm glad you guys are finally getting to see it!
Spoiler:
Luckily real life Sherbet is actually fairly healthy for being 17. He throws up more often than I would like, but we've taken him to the vet and they say everything is okay. I'm hoping that he'll be around for several more years. We've had him since he was a baby, so I don't even want to think about life after him.

Another update is done posting. The first week is super quick because there wasn't much for the founders to do with no jobs and no townies to woo.
This is lovely. It's quick and easy to read (Good for when my eyes are going googly from too much reading), and so pretty, too.
Spoiler:
I already like the characters, and it's good to see their differences. And so many animals! Yay!
I hope that sewing store really takes off. Is she going to sell clothes, as well? It can be surprisingly lucrative.
I'm not familiar with this rules set, and didn't feel like reading it. I'm just going with the flow, and enjoying the ride, so to speak, so if you make a mistake, I certainly won't catch it.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
Spoiler:
I'll probably have her sell clothing because they're not allowed to sell anything they didn't craft themselves until I unlock a Downtown (which happens when the founder tops Politics and pays 500,000). So a clothing shop isn't allowed just yet.
I love this! Your sims always look so cute, and your houses and community lots are fantastic! I like your naming theme for your simself, too.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how the houses and community lots look too. And I'm so excited to do more nerdy names for future generations of my SimSelf. I have so many in mind.
Shout out to my simself for being a black widow lol

The joys of me randomly rolling for challenges. I've wanted to attempt a Black Widow challenge for a while, so I'm actually really glad that someone rolled it. I just feel bad killing off all the townies. I might have to download some specifically for the challenge so that I don't feel as bad killing them all off.

Aw, those kitties are so cute!
I love your black widow challenge. I am such a softy I can't bring myself to kill sims off prematurely. Looking forward to the next update.

It's definitely a hard challenge for me to do because I'm having to kill off all these cute townies that I downloaded. I think I might just make the last eight spouses so that I'm not killing off Sims that were created by other simmers.
And you're in luck, because I have another update!
