The parents want to celebrate being one step closer to empty nesters (at least until after uni)
I love that Chris and Prim are asleep by the time the headmaster leaves.

Luckily Prim is close enough to elderhood that she won't have a surprise baby, because I feel like that always happens to me. The parents celebrate their child's birthday with woohoo and get pregnant again.
Chris and Prim were exhausted. I don't even know why, but they were at risk of falling asleep during dinner, which wouldn't have been good for trying to get the boys into private school.

Spoiler:
Yay for a new household! I think the towering challenge sounds fun too. It's on my very, very long list.
Chiara really lucked out there!
It's nice to see Goopy around. I've always liked him a lot.
Maybe he likes all the grilled cheese.

I was really excited when I saw that Goopy was an option to chat with on the computer. I've always liked him but I feel like he rarely shows up in my 'hoods because of all the townies from later expansion packs.
That's good they're still together. Hopefully Rebecca will stay faithful.
That's what I would be afraid of, letting go of the kid and having them go flying through the air! I have had a couple of sim kids vomit after being swung around.
That's weird that private school doesn't give them the day off! Blake lucked out there.
I'm sure Titus loves matching his dad.
Sims really do have zero chill with relationships.
