Hi, everyone! This is a "standard" legacy challenge I worked on from 2012-2022
What can I say about my weirdos? Well, The Dysfunkshinul Legacy was founded by one Tewl Langurd, a real upstanding human being and inspirational guy. It's my ninth attempt at Pinstar's challenge since I was twelve years old, and it's the first one I've blogged beyond Generation Two. Basically, I spent so long trying to fight the glitches and setbacks that I've decided to embrace them and just let stuff happen. So far it's working out (touch wood touch wood touch wood) even if the Langurds have become the most atrocious, convoluted clan I've ever had the pleasure to play.
Warnings: profanity, sexual content, crude behaviour...
I'd like to also disclaim that I was a YOUNG'UN when I wrote the first few generations, so I like to think the jokes get better down the road.
Note 10.07.22: After ten years, two months, and twenty-five days... this legacy is officially complete! It's been a wild ride and I'm insanely grateful to everyone on Boolprop who's supported these fools.

I FINALLY read through all the chapters of this! I'm sooo happy I found your legacy. Congrats on getting so far, from a fellow procrastinator and legacy starter-but-never-finsher-er.. lol.

Malissa wasn't one of my favorites, but I was still surprised to see her go. But hey, atleast she looks waaaaaay cooler as a jellybean ghost. Maybe, if you get that "oh my ghost" opportunity, you could have her resurrected and she could look awesome all the time Not to mention she could eat all the jellybeans she wants and nothing bad would happen, since the worst already did.
I have so far failed at getting any sims 3 alien genetics into any of my sims lines. Gumby is AWESOME! He didn't get an unfortunate alien nose, and he has the eyes. So cool!
Lev and Jeff totally grew on me, and they were hilarious together as always. I was kind of sad to see them go, but I'm sure SP will have some interesting things in store for them. Or at the very least a kid or two.
I can't wait to read your next update. One of the most enjoyable legacies I've found to read so far! :]

Awesome suggestion, and I wish I could have resurrected Malissa! Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity and there was limited house space. Admittedly, she's a lot of fun to have around as a pretty ghost. So far, LeffJeff have not graced me with spare children... I may have to interfere at some point if they don't get their act together!
P.S. Two new chapters up (4.14 and 4.15) as of July 7th! Soooo close to the next generation now.

Just read all the way through it, now I see why it won Funniest Story.

I don't have Pets for Sims 3 but seeing them in here is enough I suppose. I just started my own Sims 3 legacy, a Rainbowcy actually since I wanted to do one forever. Tewl was great, even more so after he was dead. I don't have any ghosts haunting yet since everyone is still alive but I do look forward to seeing them. Great stories and adorabubble kitten too, I has kitties too. They're almost two years old but still cute.

Probably the truest thing ever spoken about Tewl. Ghosts can be a pain when you build up a collection, but they're pretty entertaining... as long as they remember to go away when the freakin' sun rises! I live in the same province as you and I have never heard of anyone actually playing quidditch. But then again I am 32 and never went to university (was not smart enough). Literally they wanted an 80% average to even look at you back then, as in 14 years ago back then. Anyway, I haven't found a case of bimple pox in my Sims 3 game so far but I'm also only on generation 3 so...plenty of time to show up. Anyway, Omen grew up nice at least I think so but I'm a Sims 3 newb so yeah, I will keep a look out for new chapters.

It's funny, it's grown so much in the last few years and yet it tends to fly totally under the radar with the general public! They should be publicizing the World Cup pretty heavily this year, though. Things really do change a lot in 14 years, and anyway, getting into university is hardly the only criteria for being smart. Heck, sometimes I feel pretty dumb for spending four years on a totally unmarketable degree.
Bimple Pox is a pain, but at least it only affects toddlers and kids. I bet you will run into it down the road. Thanks as always for reading!

Reasons I am ridiculously excited:
a) I just published 5.14, the last chapter of Generation Five, and it so happens to be the 100th post on my blog!
b) I also just reached 1,000 likes, 500 of which were in the last ten months! :uhoh:
c) The HEIR POLL is live now until May 3rd - it's the most impossible decision ever, and I don't have to make it!
