Uh, hi! Nervous person posting their legacy here for the first time!
How can I explain the Gordons... Well, they're my sixth legacy challenge, and each generation has a naming theme. So far we've had Web Series, Pokemon, The Princess Diaries, Powerpuff Girls, Harry Potter, Stardust, and The Mistborn series. They also tend to err slightly on the insane side of things! It's observational, and I seem to think I'm hilarious, but I guess that's for you to judge! There is some mild-ish profanity, and the earlier chapters aren't totally fantastic, but it does get better! ... I hope.
My Founder, Lori Gordon. A witch to rival Ginny Weasley, with a feisty personality and a love of cooking. Not to mention her butt-kicking cat, Bella. Somehow, she managed to find a husband and start a legacy that is currently residing around the birth of the ninth generation! Oh my god, guys, we're nearly there!

Omg best legacy 10/10 would recommend!
But for a more professional testimonial...
Yours is one of the only legacies my short-circuited attention span can keep up with right now, and definitely one of my favourites. Lori has got to be the most gorgeous founder around (and she looks great with the new graphics!).

Thank you!!!!!!? Yours is one of my favourites by far, I look forward to each chapter way more than I probably should! And the Gordons wouldn't exist without the Langurds; case in point - Lyra wouldn't exist without Boa!

Working my way through Ella's chapters now, since you are ahead of me in the Round Robin legacy I figured I'd see how you write so whoever I get for heir won't disappoint you for all the work you put in before me. Now if you happen to get a Gordon kid named Flash, that might be cool. Anyway, back to the chapters.
4.6 is up, and it's the last of Gen Four. It's a big one, and also has a mini speech at the end about why this is so short... But it's definitely one of my better chapters!

I am so waiting for a chapter called Back to the Future now. Know what's cool though? Christopher Lloyd is set to appear at Fan Expo in Toronto this Labour Day weekend, which is the first weekend in September. I hope he comes and doesn't cancel, I will totally bring my BTTF dvd set for him to sign and my Who Framed Roger Rabbit one too. Now I have to go looking for Marty McFly, I have been meaning to return to the future but things just never work out that way. Woo for reaching halfway point!

I’ve thought about it, and I think this is probably best. For anyone who doesn’t know, my boyfriend broke up with me yesterday. I did not want to, but he would not talk about it.
I know I was really excited to move forward with the Gordons and I even had future plans for them, but the blogging thing is something I did largely with support from him; I used to play when he was around, send him all the posts as soon as I published, and when I was stuck on a post or felt shitty about them, he was there, and so I don’t really want to do it any more.
I don’t want them to become another of my failed challenges, but I really don’t feel like there’s anything else I can do.
I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for (I’ll still be part of the round robin), it could be weeks or it could be months. All I know right now is that everything is really hard and I’ve been struggling a lot lately, without this added on top. I’ve been trying to keep a positive face for his sake, but now I don’t need to do that everything has really hit me.
Hopefully I’ll be back soon, but I can’t say for certain.

No one is going to blame you for taking a chill pill on the legacy, break ups can be hard. I had one myself about eight months ago. Four years with him too, but such is my luck with guys. So go do whatever you have to do.
