Re: Culpepper Pals (hopefully updating soon!)

That's unfortunate about the hard drive, but good to hear you've still got a version of the Culpepper Pals to go back to! It'll be interesting to see what changes between when you first played it, and now, I think! :)

Looking forward to seeing the gang again. <3

Re: Culpepper Pals (Good News!)

Post by Sam »

I've got another quick announcement - and it's good news!

I unexpectedly found my Culpeppers save file! The one before the hard drive incident! I don't have to play through autumn & winter 2 again!! I have no idea how, but it turned up on my laptop for some reason?

So the next update will be winter for Oli Titan-Ojo, like I'd originally planned, rather than autumn 2 all over again. And hopefully I'll have it up soon, although work did just pick up a little bit :)

Hope you're all doing okay

Spoiler:
Oli and Cass are cute together!

Congrats to Dusty! She deserves all her fame. It'll be fun to see everyone still overreact to her being famous.

I hope Taeko and Max stay together. I like them as a couple. :)

I haven't played a vet clinic either, so I'm excited to see what Shari gets up to.

Adora is such a great mom to all of her kids, bio or not.

Love the sand snowman! :D

It's interesting to be both lazy and responsible.

The Bells are just such a cute family.

Spoiler:
They were such an unexpected couple, but I really like them together!

I was so happy I finally got her to 5 stars :D I think I might have to stop inviting her to parties now, she attracts so much attention

I really like them together!! I've sent them off to uni together, so I guess we'll see how it goes :)

This is my first time and I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm only playing a small one I must admit, because Shari is the only vet I'm interested in

She really is! She's such a sweetheart honestly

I'm so glad I finally had the opportunity to use it

It's a bit of an odd combination, isn't it?

They really are

I just binge read everything I have missed when I went on hiatus for a few months.
Spoiler:
You make TS4 look so enjoyable that I've actually started playing it primarily. I might get city living just because I love living in cities myself and your pictures make the world look so pretty.

I love how all of the second generation kids are turning out too! I love the little intra-romances going on in the groups ;;

Dolly being a trouble maker is going to be so interesting in the future!

I found it really hard to put down this story. Every time I finished a chapter, I immediately opened another one (before I knew it it was 4am so.......)

Thank you for keeping this story going! I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring in the future :)

Spoiler:
I love the family photo. :)

Caleb wouldn't be Caleb if he wasn't wearing some kind of silly outfit.

It's good to see Max and Taeko are still going strong as a couple.

I'll miss Lilith, but it probably is time that she and Candy got their own place. Maybe they'll want to expand their family a bit. ^^

Dolly is pretty, and the Serial Romantic aspiration is a lot of fun to play.

She does have a point, drinking from others is a lot easier and cheaper. I feel bad about having my vampire sims do it, but it's more fulfilling than a plasma pack. :shifty:

Dolly you are NOT nearly an adult. You just became a teenager!

Let's hope it's just a phase. Dolly could be trouble.

Poor Dusty, uninvited because she's just too famous and fabulous.

I feel like Kirby's trying to prove a point by standing next to Dolly and drinking a plasma pack.

Poor Caleb didn't have a great time in the mountains.

it's nice to see you!
Spoiler:
I've been really enjoying it! I definitely use City Living a lot, I really like the world and having apartments.

I'm so excited that they're all growing up and starting their own lives! It's actually really helpful when they fall in love with each other, it cuts the rotation size down

I absolutely love playing her :D

I'm really pleased to hear this! :D even if it means you're up really late!!

Thank you
108sims:
Spoiler:
I really like taking them every season, you can really see how the family changes over time :)

True! He's such a goofball.

I really like them together! Plus if they stay together, that would really help keep my rotation size down :shifty:

I was just getting overwhelmed with that many people in the house  I'm not actually playing them at the moment, but never say never!

I can't work out which parent she takes after more! I think she might be mostly Caleb? Her aspiration is so much fun to play.

It is! It's so much easier than having to keep on top of the plasma pack supply  plus I haven't played a vampire like this before.

That's teens for you

She may be trouble, but it's so much fun!

Dusty just steals all the attention whenever she's around  it's okay if I'm controlling her, otherwise it gets really annoying.

Yes probably

He had a smile on his face though  maybe he doesn't mind wiping out!

Thanks guys!
I took a break over Christmas because I was working a lot, and then I was playing Stardew Valley pretty much all of January. But I'm back with an update :)

Nooo, the first death!

Is retroactive jinxing a thing? Because as I was opening the link, I thought about how long Jo had been an elder and about how I should start preparing for deaths... :fisty:

If it helps, they're my sims and I still didn't see it coming  I genuinely thought Jo was going to hold out until the summer! I think it's partly why I've been dragging my heels playing this rotation - losing these guys is rough!

Spoiler:
Loved the new update! Marnie is a cutie!

I do agree, aspirations are definitely much better to achieve with 2nd generation sims (provided you don't have a bunch of kids in the same household).

I've been wanting to marry Kaori into one of my families someday, thought you were heading down that path... but tsk tsk, Kaori, that's not a nice thing to do on love day...glad that Marnie has decided to look for other options for the time being.

I tend to have my sims marry off and have babies with the very first romantic interest they have which makes for boring gameplay at times...maybe I need to take a page out of your book to spice up my gameplay!

Looking forward to the next update!

Spoiler:
I love Marnie

It's just so much easier!! I guess from all the extra traits? I haven't played a family with a lot of kids in this save yet, but never say never!

I really like her, but she was definitely coming across as lukewarm! Perhaps there will be someone further down the line that she really likes? I definitely think calling it off was best for Marnie, though!

Quite a few of my couples meet someone & settle down, but then sometimes the game will throw a curve ball and it's really interesting to play with! I think I'm really going to enjoy playing a serial romantic too :) it's definitely fun having
a sim explore their options!!

Thanks!
