Oh, and the winning veto could also be used after the vote on the top 2 or as a tie-breaker. So you will need to decide whether to play your hand BEFORE the vote... Or will you change the popular opinion entirely!

The winner will be contacted via PM and when it comes time for the vote, they need to tell me before I post the poll, which action they are going to choose...

Lol I shouldn't be helping but: a ship-name is usually a combination of 2 names. Think: Brangelina (for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) or Benniffer (for Ben Affleck and JLo) or Garfleck (for Ben Affleck and Jenniffer Garner)... I was going to go with Kim, but then I thought that was just too obvious and I needed a theme anyway, so...

Yeah, most of my regulars seem to be busy with real life stuff and it can take time to get new ones, but keep posting! People will catch on eventually. ;)

For my guess, I'm going to say Kardquin, which is kind of fun to say, actually. :spin:

Hi all,

So, you might have noticed the distinct lack of an update yesterday (it's 3:45am on thursday here). The internet is still out  I swear on all I hold dear that I WILL have an update this weekend! Even if I have to hijack someones wifi!!! Plus side is it gives people a bit more time to guess the name

One thing I've discovered is that I am crap at remembering to take screenshots! But, I think I've taken enough for a good few chapters to bring us almost up to the heir vote... I'm waiting for all the kids to be teens before I do that. Well, teens and YA in the case of the eldest!

The "contest" is now closed :swoon:
Congrats to Chels (incidentally, I only counted her first guess, after I had explained ship-names, which just happened to be correct)

Our first born for Gen 1 is Karquin Parisshian. The first of five :headache:

I should have that chapter up soon. But, for now, how about A little bit of background :celebration:

Spoiler:
Karquin is a cutie. I would have never been able to come up with that name.

Lol I am the ship-name Queen :bounce:
If you take a look at the legacy/story in my signature, I think I've come up with at least half of the ship-names since I started reading part way through the 3rd(?) generation. I love doing them, they're like little anagrams and things. Puzzles have always fascinated me since I was a kiddy. Even now, I can spend hours sitting and playing sudoku and other puzzle games. Our office went on a team building, and one of the tasks we had was a "matchstick" puzzle. I don't know if you'll be familiar with them, but I had a book of them when I was about 6 or so. I would stare at those random shapes until the answer came through. I totally rocked that task :celebration: :#1: :smirk: :bounce: Not so good at the more physical ones though lol

Thanks for reading :drinks:
