Spoiler:
The flower shop is so cute! Shame about the wedding venue being a bit of a pain, it looks like a very pretty lot. I also can't believe Zoe nearly drowned again, what is up with this girl?

I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Rudolfs get up to in Sulani! It's amazing how much money you can make from painting, Dusty Brows is my richest sim now because of how often she paints! I sometimes forget Felix is a vampire?? I'm not sure why  I like that you're going to cure him so they can grow old together <3 Camille eating honey from the pot was cute! I haven't played the medicine career very much, so it has been really interesting seeing what happens when you progress through it. Alec's hospital trips were pretty funny, poor thing  Camille grew up so pretty!!

Spoiler:
I'll agree that Caleb in his underwear might be as scary as Carlotta.

I like Liv's little flower shop. It's cute!

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Zoe just, I have no words. :hissyfit:

Quick thinking there on completing part of Cole's aspiration!

I can't wait to see what you have planned with Cas and the Realm of Magic.

Poor Felix just wants to have some cool powers too.

Of course Felix would get sick from his patients.

I've always shipped Liberty and Summer. Travis who?

I think it might actually just be an issue of sims acting like idiots at weddings in my game, because I threw another wedding recently, and most of the guests also ignored the ceremony, haha. The fountain placement was just particularly unfortunate... I have a theory that Zoe loves her zombie wife so much that she too would like to become a zombie, please.

I've kept everyone in the city for so long, it's nice to have a change of scenery! (Well, aside from Scott and Persephone, but you'll see where that goes in their latest update...) And right?? It's ludicrous. I think Felix's vampiric side is overlooked because I usually focus on him at work, or being a huge stealth flirt. My favourite thing about the doctor career is just seeing my Paraneighbours show up as patients, you don't really get that with the scientist or detective careers! I want to be able to arrest Carlotta, but I'll have to settle for giving Alec his shots.

Camille takes so much after Cole, but she's also just so unique looking in her own way. <3 Look-wise, she or Luna would definitely have to be my favourites this generation.

It is! Although it's pretty tiny, and gets pretty cramped with all the clients (and occasional paparazzi). I wish I could have put all of Zoe's wishing well money towards sprucing it up a bit, haha.

It's almost like Zoe's trying to become a zombie so that she can join Liv as a member of the undead.

I really wasn't sure how I was going to catch the Grim Reaper without intentionally killing someone again, so it was really lucky that Zoe made that decision for me. ;)

I mean technically he also has some cool powers (like his superspeed), but I hardly let him use any of them. Oops...

You'd think being a vampire would make him less likely to get sick.

See? Everyone knows that shipping Liberty and Sumer is where it's at!
Last update for rotation 9 is up, read the Talbot's rotation here! Also, I have posted Andy's Side Adventures in StrangerVille, check that out over here.

Finally, I am desperately trying to catch my rotations up to where I am in game, so that I'm not posting RoM gameplay in December, so rotation 10 will be posted all at the same time, sometime next week. ;)

Spoiler:
I seriously can't wait for Realm of Magic! Mermaids are also awesome. Really I'm just glad that they're finally adding more supernaturals. I'm waiting for a werewolf pack now.

Aw poor Scott. I do hope he finds love. Eugene was difficult to get with anyway. Someone will love him for his goofy, messy self.

I couldn't remember where Isobel actually ended up. Oh well, she and Eugene can just chill there for all eternity.

I really like the odd jobs. They added a lot of nice little touches to the game lately.

I love Scott and Mars.

If I were Persephone, I would not want to use that bathtub.

And another Carlotta spotting!

I also loved reading Andy's Strangerville adventures. I loved playing through that story, and I enjoy seeing other's playthroughs of that.

I'm having the same issue as you, I'm way ahead in game than where I am with posting updates
Spoiler:
I think it's good that you take sims out of the rotation that no longer interest you. Shame about the break up, but I'm sure Scott will find someone eventually. Mars is a pretty great companion for the meantime! At least Persephone got to enjoy a (fairly) peaceful rotation. Also, in regards to how many times Scott has pooped himself, you could check the sim stats, next to the family tree button. There's an entire section for Misfortunes :D

I'm so glad they've added mermaids in! I haven't played with them yet as I haven't had the expansion that long, but I'm so excited! Likewise, I can't wait for Realm of Magic!

I didn't read the Strangeville chapter as I literally just got it and want to play the mystery spoiler-free first, so I'll check back in on that at some point :)

Yessssss, give me those werewolves, EA! Scott's were-vamp state is okay for now, but I'd love to be able to play him as an actual werewolf. Maybe he'd poop himself less...

Eugene was a very difficult sim, haha. I think he might be the perfect match for Isobel, though, if I ever get around to playing them for a bit... :hmm: I maaaay have some other plans for Caleb with Realm of Magic coming out, and I think like Scott, he could also do better. ;)

They're the perfect lil job for a sim who's got a lot of other gameplay plans going on, like if your sim is currently working on the StrangerVille mystery, for example.

They're a late addition to the save, but these two have stolen my heart very quickly. <3 I'm glad that despite his similarities to Jeff - big, muscular, dog lover with a loyal pet - Scott and Mars are very much their own characters.

Persephone really does deserve her own bathtub. She'll get one next rotation. ;)

It's a unique little gamepack! And it's nice that you can sort of take different approaches to doing it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue!

I am also really glad to hear that, because I do feel a little bad whenever I end up taking someone out of the rotation, but it does make the gameplay a lot more enjoyable for me (and therefore make the updates more enjoyable to read, I hope!) The break up was definitely for the best for Scott, and he'll always have Mars by his side because I refuse to let my pets age. Thank you for the sim stats suggestion! I remember it had a section for the number of vampires you've slayed, but I haven't used it since and I'd completely forgotten that it existed.

I'm a sucker for supernatural sims (clearly), and getting not one, but two new occults this year is extremely exciting. Very excited to see what you do with your future ones, as well!

That is very good thinking, spoilers are half the reason I sequestered her StrangerVille adventure to its own update. It's definitely more enjoyable to play through when you haven't seen or read anything about it yet!

This was so fun to read!
Spoiler:
I sometimes make my OCs in sims, and I have a werewolf. I might have to make her a werevamp like with Scott. Hopefully she won't poop as much as him. Two difficult ghost sims paired together! All the pets are really their own characters. :)

Winchester
I like the new teen bedrooms! I miss ACR too. I like letting my sims pick their spouses. Alec and Jeff sure do like to hang around in their undies. I think it's so cool aliens can revive the little alien pets. I like Rocket's shark outfit. He's ready for some island fun! They can swim in swimming pools too, but mine rarely due. Lol at Jasper swinging around his guitar with the flames! They just want another baby!

Olsen
Persephone can get some charity herself by finding whatever bank that money was deposited at and robbing it. It's not a party if something's not on fire! I wouldn't underestimate them. I'm sure they'd manage to set themselves on fire and die when in a pool. The kids are growing up so fast. :( I can't wait to see Luna's adventures running a clinic. I haven't done much with that yet. Of course Mars would poop outside, just for Scott since he couldn't be there. Happy to see Luna and Will engaged!

DiCarlo
Carlotta!!!! I love your explanation for why Alec was there lol. That's one of my favorite things about the sims is when weird, random stuff like that. I feel Jasper, that's my constant moodlet. Lilith, Jasper, and Caleb all deserve better. I like Carlotta, but she's also kind of awful. Poor Cas with his whole entire family showing up to spy on his date!

Mortis
Zoe didn't try and join Liv as a Zombie? I'm shocked! It seems like Zoe can't go a full rotation without dying. I agree about Sylvan Glad, pretty but boring. I've sent my sims there for to get married before because it does make a good background. You with Kunal is me with all my vegetarian sims. They also like to eat meat on their own and get upset over it, so have fun with that! Maybe Kunal will be smarter, though. I think with the death flowers someone else needs to have it to give to the Grim Reaper, should he show up? I'm not 100% sure on this as I've only used them to back ambrosia.

Rudolf
I love the skeleton in Felix and Cole's room. Reasons like becoming a mermaid? Felix would definitely get burnt being outside too long. Dr. "Unlirty" Felix Rudolf to give the talk to his daughter. He is very knowledgeable because he's a doctor y'know. (I feel like getting the talk from a doctor's perspective would be even more awkward). I'm jealous you've seen a dolphin! I've played a whole generation in Sulalni and have yet to see one. Yay mermaids! The blue makes the dolphin more special, trust me.

Talbot
Mars marks the house as THEIR house in his own special way. Good luck with your off the grid house! It seems difficult to me. The do have judging a sandcastle contest as an odd job. I love the waterfall. It has so many cool interactions! :haha: I don't think anything will get Scott to stop pooping. It's become part of his personality. Scott + Leo = :heartbeat:.

Irving
Maybe the waitress is interested in Persephone? I'm surprised Carlotta hasn't shown up in more chapters. Clearly now that she's newly single, she's off plotting evil. Yeah it wouldn't take me long to get 100 hours at all. I spend 40 hours a week in front of one just at work. I think the mice or rats or whatever they are, are kinda cute, but I guess I wouldn't want them in my actual living space. I love the holiday plush collection, but they are a pain to get. I was going to make some kind of horrible pun about Persephone and the alien, but yeah I couldn't think of anything. I like the looks of her! I just like t he color blue, so that's no surprise. Where did Cole get said frogs though? Good job Persephone for completing all those!

I really enjoyed rotation 10! :)
Spoiler:
Winchester Beach Party so pretty! I took the Culpepper Pals in winter, it was nowhere near as nice  That shark costume for dogs is amazing.

The incredibly flammable weenie roasts were so funny, now I know to avoid them! Both girls are super cute.

Carlotta & Lilith’s divorce seems appropriate. I really like Lilith, I really need to do something with her. Poor Jasper having to live there, glad he has Cas – even if they do get spied on during dates! I also love seeing the other families out at restaurants.

The Mortis house is looking so cute now :hearts: I didn’t know there was a fishing spot in the city!! I found one in the Arts Quarter after you found the one in the Spice Market. I love Sylvan Glade, but you’re right – there’s really not much to do there. I love all the shots from Sulani, it’s such a beautiful world!

That beach house :jawdrop: it’s absolutely gorgeous. I also try to carry over some of their possessions when they move!! I love that they get the tail in the tub!

Off the Grid is the perfect lifestyle for Scott! Leo is adorable and a great partner for Scott :) That restaurant is gorgeous?! Diego Luna stealing their food and instagramming was particularly fun. In fact, Scott’s rotations are always fun

Persephone is so pretty! Can I ask where you found the mod that lets townies use Get Famous costumes at GeekCon? It’ll beat the heck out of ten llamamen turning up. Those plushes are adorable, I had no idea they existed? That shot with the alien babe is so foreboding  I’ve never been to Forgotten Grotto :hearts: Her apartment is gorgeous!
I feel like there was more I wanted to say but I have no idea what it was :P

Spoiler:
Glad to hear that! I was worried that an entire rotation's worth of updates at once would just be daunting, haha.

As long as you don't give them the sloppy traits, werevamps are pretty good to play with! I think that was my mistake with Scott.

Winchester: I would have liked to see who the kids all ended up with if we had something like ACR for 4. I think a lot of my sims end up hanging around in their pjs and undies, but it's very noticeable with Jeff and Alec because they don't wear as much clothing. My lady sims usually get a shirt to wear with their panties, at least. I'll have to attempt to get Rocket into a pool at some point in the future! To be honest I'm a huge cat lady irl, and I kinda forgot that dogs could swim altogether. And I knoooow, I want to give them their baby but they've just finished their last rotation as adults in my game. It's time to let the kids take over, and move all the original neighbours out to a nice lil retirement home! (And then continue to document the all shenanigans that I'm sure will ensue.)

Olsen: They absolutely would find a way to set themselves on fire in a pool. That's just how sims be. I am excited to start playing all the kids as adults! The vet clinic has been fun to run so far; I've just barely scratched the surface of playing with all the business aspects in 4 (RIP once again to Alec's restaurant dreams...), but so far the vet clinic has to be my favourite. It works well, and it's fun to play! Scott would have definitely pooped his own pants if he had been there at the vet clinic. Thankfully he has not shown up yet; Leo has taken on all the vet duties so far.

DiCarlo: Honestly whenever I see one of my Paraneighbours out and about while I'm playing another family, I always keep an eye on them to see what they get up to. Alec just made that very easy by letting himself into the actual apartment. And same, family is nice sometimes, but whenever I spend a little too much time around mine I start looking for somewhere to hide... They do deserve better, so I ended up giving Lilith & Caleb a little side adventure for rotation 12. :) Cas and Jasper's 'chaperoned' date was easily the best date I've ever experienced in a sims game. Jeff and Alec really love spying on their children.

Mortis: Of all the sims I thought I was going to have to keep an eye on to make sure they don't kill themselves (Scott), Zoe was probably last on my list, haha. The secret lots really need a community lot, or something. I guess they're supposed to be private and a little secretive, but they're kinda just glorified fishing spots? Using it for weddings sounds like a good idea. Omg yes, this little shit constantly steals his moms' food regardless of whether he can eat it or not. And the death flowers do need to be given by someone else! I ended up giving Jeff a gym buddy consisting of his kids and/or husbro to make sure they could save him if necessary. ;)

Rudolf: Skeletons make the best bedroom decor, obviously; I like to think Cole would incorporate it into his flirting routine - "Hey baby, wanna bone?" as he waves a little skeleton arm in the air. I kinda wish vampires could actually get sunburns, because Felix getting one would be hilarious. Almost as hilarious as him being Doctor "Unflirty" Felix Rudolf, woohoo talk expert. ;) (Camille should be glad the skeleton wasn't incorporated.) Really? You gotta keep an eye out for them! I usually see them swimming around the buoys, although being a mermaid does make it extremely easy because I think they can just summon one at will.

Talbot: Pooping upon arrival at a new lot seems to be Mars' thing now. "This is my vet clinic now", "This is my house now", etc, I guess you're right about marking his territory, haha. It's actually not too hard, the most challenging part is just not being able to bathe dogs on the lot. Scott being a vampire helps because he doesn't need to cook. And that is very true, I am now disappointed whenever Scott makes it through a rotation without pooping his pants. I am so happy I had Scott and Eugene break up, because Leo is where it's at.

Irving: She definitely seems more interested in cute alien mergirls than sloppy werevamps who poop their pants. ;) I kinda wish we could give the TLC traits to other lots, because I think having the little mice/rats pop up in my witchy sims' cottages would be cute. I think there was a mod for it, but I'm not sure if it still works. The holiday plushies are very cute, but from now on i'm just gonna go into debugged buy mode if I want them, haha. I am not sure where Cole got that many frogs from, but that just makes it funnier. Something about showing up to a flea market in a too-large suit with a table full of frogs is just very Cole.

Spoiler:
It was definitely the highlight of their rotation, I just wish we had an actual beach party option. I have a whole new appreciation for the shark costume now that I have realized dogs can swim, lol. As I said in my other reply, I kinda forgot dogs can swim, because I'm used to living with a cat who poops himself if you try to put him near water...

In retrospect, it was very amusing seeing them manage to set the party ablaze a new way every time, even after I took away their seats, haha.

I love the Vatores, they are probably one of my favourite noc families. I did end up giving them their own spin-off adventure in rotation 12, to play around with some of the new RoM stuff. and give them a bit more of a proper send off after having to endure so much of Carlotta, haha. Seeing your Caleb always gives me an urge to play mine again. ;)

Their new bedroom is my favourite; I'll have to decorate everyone's rooms at the future retirement home to look like their current ones. I did not know about the Arts Quarter fishing spot! Now that I've seen what they've done with the secret world in Realm of Magic, it'd be nice if the other secret spots had a little something extra to do there, besides the usual fishing/collecting. At least Sixam has the alien parties if you do the Scientist career. Sulani is absolutely gorgeous, they really did a good job with it.

Thank you! Keeping some old furniture is really win-win, because it's a little more realistic, and it means I don't have to come up with a totally new look for their house. ;)

I wish I'd been able to have him live off the grid from the beginning! Especially now that we have Glimmerbrook, an off the grid cabin in the woods would be perfect for him. I might have to move him there once he's done cleaning up Sulani with Leo... And right?? The restaurant is possibly the best lot they have made for the game, I have no clue why it's hidden away on their gallery. Diego Lobo is another npc I love. I haven't really got anyone to set him up with at the moment, so I've just made him into a fashionable lil spellcaster for the time being.

I only know about the holiday cracker plushies because I saw someone else decorate a bedroom with them! I'm not even sure which pack they come with, tbh. Maybe they were an update item. Sixam has some very dramatic lighting, haha. And thank you! The apartments are jsut so much fun to decorate, I think it's because I don't have to worry about the exterior.
No new updates yet; leave it to me to upload an entire rotation at once so I can "catch myself up", and then not touch my game or upload any of the next rotation for several weeks. Hoping to get some more updates out before the end of the month, though. :)

Finally got it together, and got an update out! The Winchester's 11th rotation is now up here.

edit: Oh shit, you guys, I just noticed the date on the original post and today is actual the first anniversary of the Paraneighbours! What spectacular, completely unplanned timing.

Happy Birthday Paraneighbors!
Spoiler:
Lol harsh but funny, the role of girlfriend will be played by someone else.

Having magical mind reading powers does make it easier to get to know someone.

They’re all too cool for the bowling shoes lol

I love the bold pickup line, but that may just be because I love finger guns and find them hilarious.

I don’t know why but your little “‘Hi, I’m Jeff’” caption made me laugh so hard.

Happy Birthday Paraneighbours!
Spoiler:
That treadmill challenge looks insane! glad there was no need for a death flower

Shame about the breakup but these things happen  the group date was cute, and Cas bowling his ball backwards made me smile! Morgana and I bowl the same way, hitting any pins at all is a total win.

I love how you decorated their apartment for Harvestfest! The "Hi I'm Jeff!" cracked me up. I loved Will during the dinner party, doing anything to avoid being part of it. Very cute evening overall :)

I didn't know sims could smash the backboard? None of my sims are that good (?) at basketball.

I added the same restaurant to my save, it's just so nice. I love how much love Alec had for the place! The selfie looks so good on the bedside table, too.
Very cute update! :)

Lol harsh but funny, the role of girlfriend will be played by someone else.

Having magical mind reading powers does make it easier to get to know someone.

They’re all too cool for the bowling shoes lol

Polly's really just helping Ariel out, gotta get used to being rejected when you go into acting!

Sometimes I just spam the 'get to know' interaction 3 times in a row to have a sim learn all the traits at once, but being able to mind read them saves me a few clicks.

Clearly! I still really want to make a bowling team using the club mechanic at some point, so there'll be no escaping from the bowling shoes then...

It really compliments the new "give directions to the beach" flirt that you get from being in the lifeguard career.

I had a little giggle when I wrote it, glad everyone else thought my dumb joke was worth a laugh.

Spoiler:
I bought the fitness pack solely for those treadmills, and as soon as I was warned about the deadly treadmill challenge I was like 'lol yeah I'm still gonna make Jeff do it though'. I'm very proud of my boy for managing to do it without dying!

I so rarely make my sims break up that it's a nice change of pace, for once! I think Lilith & Carlotta breaking up last rotation was also my first sim divorce in years. I am very uncoordinated so I too celebrate hitting any pins.

Thank you! It's kinda fun decorating for their little parties. I am glad my dumb caption for Jeff was a hit. Will is honestly such a mood at parties, it's fun panning over and finding that he's hidden himself away as everyone else socializes. Clearly they'll need to throw some more parties together to help welcome him into family. ;)

The Winchesters (minus Cas lol) are one of my sportiest/fittest families, so they're all really good at basketball. I was gonna see if I could get Jeff to win the basketball trophy, but you need something along the lines of 70 wins, which is just too much for me to keep track of.

It has become my new favourite restaurant to send them to in-game. It was so adorable seeing Alec have such a good time, it really made the whole night out feel worth it!

Thank you! :)
New update for the Olsens is out!

Spoiler:
I didn't know about the special flirt option for lifeguards. I've got to play that career for sure!

I love the colors of Luna's vet clinic.

Are you sure Mars is okay? He must be sick if he didn't poop there

Will and Luna's wedding was really pretty and cute!

Of course Jeff and Alec would make out in the middle of a wedding.

I'm not sure how University is going to work either. It'll be interesting to see.

Felix is just an emotional wreck!

Will must have waterproof headphones.

There's not a lot to it, since it's a part time job, but it also has some cute unlockables.

Gotta keep the pastel theme going!

Thank you! It was a bit of a pain in the ass to get the whole ceremony working (I played it before parties in Sulani were patched...), but the scenery made it worth it.

I really thought Alec would be better behaved than that, but clearly I was wrong!

I am hoping University is not going to make it too hard to play rotations - if semesters keep going when you switch to another household I'm gonna have to figure something out...

He really is. He just has a lot of feelings!

Waterproof headphones, sure, but the socks... what kind of monster enjoys wearing wet socks?
New update for the DiCarlo household is up!

Spoiler:
I'm not sure how uni will work with that either. I'm hoping it's more like Sims 2 University than Sims 3, where you could only play one household.

I'll agree about the socks. Wet socks are gross!

I'll miss Carlotta, but I'm sure she'll keep popping up. She always seems to.

The paparaizzis are excited to have some entertaining footage to use.

I can't believe she lost a fight. That vampire better watch her back.

Poor Scott, but he would be one to fall for chain mail.

I love when the throw drink prank fails because the sim doing it always looks so horrified that it went wrong.

Carlotta looks so thrilled!

I was going to say, it would have been funny if chose to vandalize Carlotta's star.

 Bye Carlotta! She was a lot of fun to read about over the rotations.

Spent the last two days reading all of the chapters and getting attached to all your adorable sims! This was great fun to read and I kinda want to do a rotating save now myself in Sims 4. i always stick with 1 fam per save so multiple fams might be a lot of fun to try.

Heather your game is beautiful.
You sell Sims 4 way better than EA's advertising team, they should be throwing money your way.

I can't get enough of the Paraneighbors! :heartbeat:

It'd definitely be great if it worked more like TS2, and kept the semesters household-based.

I have full confidence Carlotta will continue to pop up in the background, especially because she's one of the few celebrity sims I have.

For sure! Stumbling upon several celebrities fighting is like striking tabloid gold.

If Carlotta doesn't take care of that vampire, Alec might. ;) He's really been slacking in the whole 'vampire slayer' department...

Scott could receive an email that simply said "hi scott pls send coine" and Scott would still send them cash.

Honestly I hadn't even been paying attention to Jasper's reaction because Carlotta's was so funny, now I'm going to have to pay more attention to the pranker the next time I pull that one.

I'd kind of forgotten about the celebrity stars entirely until Jasper took his little trip to Del Sol. I'll have to send him back at some pint now that Carlotta has a star for him to trash.

That is a lot of reading in two days! I highly recommend trying a rotating save; it's a great way to keep things fresh when you've fallen into a rut with one family.

Aww, thank you! :heartbeat:

EA throwing money my way for anything is the dream, haha. If I'd been a little quicker, I might have gotten in on those gamechangers freebies (although I'm nowhere near a big name simmer so probably not )...

Plenty more to come in the future; I've been counting down the days to the University release so I can finally get back to playing them.
