Well, I've hopped on the WYD train! I'm playing this (my first ever WYDC) to see what the hubbub is all about, play a little TS3, and to have a little something to play when I'm feeling tired of the apocalypse (and everything else I play to get away from the apocalypse). Chapters should be pretty short and basic, to be frank

update 1 year later: Sooo their lot is super bugged and I was getting super annoyed with every single sim in this family, so I'm going to try a Sims 2 WYDC instead I think

Chase I just noticed this link in your blog! Love it so far. You guys are making me want to try thus challenge out...

One thing I miss about Sims 3 is the gardening and the making of Ambrosia. It took me forever to find enough Deathfish to make it with. So how come the kids look pink if the mama is purple? Nice start though.

I love the idea of using a coloured sim for a mother - you'll get a whole bunch of different pinks and purples, depending on the father's slider. This is a good start, can't wait to see who the next baby daddy is - try Pip Goodfellow for a fairy, he's not boring like Branch Timbley.
