It's funny you should say that. I am in a bit of Funk with my hoods and decided to something different at the moment too. But I think your A is Amazing. I have never built a neighbourhood/island either. Another thing I need to try and do.

I love making my own worlds .... it is very rare that I even open any of the EA worlds. I use my own worlds.
And if I am honest ... I get more enjoyment out of making the worlds than I get from playing in them

CAW is a lot easier to use than people think.

Huh! 46 lots in and I have hardly dented the island ... this is beginning to feel like I have clicked on the wrong map, and am working on a LARGE build, rather than a medium map

I already know that I am building a world that I will not enjoy playing ... because of the size of it.
I hate big worlds, which all of the EA worlds are. The reason why I started to build and only play my own worlds.

However now I've done so much, I have to see it through to the end.

and this is what you don't see in game ... remove the fog and you can see what is lurking under the water!!

It seems like a waste of time painting the sea bed with sand doesn't it, when its not seen outside of CAW .... but it isn't!
I have already learned the lesson of putting a dive lot into a world and when the sim goes diving you see a grass sea bed Not happening twice!!



It still is looking VERY bare because it is going to take me a long time to fill in all the space.

Anyway, the next time I Edit in game, I'll get some close up screenshots of the small sections I've built so far, then it will look more like a sim world rather than a green space!!

I haven't played sims 3 so I can't really imagine how much work does it takes to make this, but I wanted to say that it looks awesome! You're doing an amazing job, I love all the little details on the map!

I usually make myself empty worlds, so that I can build them up as I go along ... it stops me from getting bored of playing the same world.
This is the first total build I've done for a long time.
