Sims3 Launcher Problem

When I open the launcher - to play my game I have to quickly click on the large arrow to set the game loading
if I don't I get bombarded by script errors and pop ups. I have to keep clicking no otherwise it keeps opening mozilla and adding pages to my brower and there is an advertisement stuck on the launcher
sometimes it takes me a good 10 mins of fighting with these pop ups before i can get the launcher accessable so I can click on the arrow.

Does anyone know what this is? Is anyone having the problem and HOW do I stop it happening.

Mcaffee and malware program are not picking up on any threats.

Ive had this problem for a while but its really annoying me today because Ive built a world in CAW and am trying to test it out - but I cant stop this problem to get the world to upload into my game
and the launcher is eventually crashing

Try disconnecting from your internet before you open the launcher. Sometimes that works out and makes it run better. I had a problem similar to that before and disconnecting my internet made it work again.

Okay I never thought about that - and it is a good idea :spin:

However it is only going to be a temporary cure.

The NRAAS forum site might have better answers for you. They do seem to know how to make the game work better than the ones who actually made it in the first place.
