Jeff's ducky hospital gown! And of course, Alec watching cooking shows instead of paying attention. Polly & Cas are such cute names, too.

Also, Felix has got it right, every new parent wants a violin performance when they've got a newborn ;)
Spoiler:
The moodlets are just so in-character for Jeff, haha.

The ducky gown was the best possible choice the game could have given him. Also, I'm sure watching cooking shows while your spouse is giving birth could be justified if you were like "oh man I was just trying to learn some new recipes for the babies!" He would have been in the clear if he had stayed in the room with Jeff after giving him a smooch instead of immediately running back out to the waiting room. At least it made for some entertaining shenanigans!

Felix was just following them up with the best possible aftercare, as all good doctors do! No wonder he got that promotion. ;)

I love the moodlets for the alien pregnancies, but also wish they would say how long until the next trimester. Oh well. I like the snark.

It's sad that Polly is a girl so the mythological names aren't one hundred percent accurate, but it still works. Greek mythology is my favorite, so I'm glad that's the naming scheme you went with.
Spoiler:
Right? Love the snark, I just wish it'd say something like... "maybe he should wait 24 hours to see if it passes" for the weird tummy ache moodlet, for example. Then it'd keep the same vibe, but also give you a heads up so you can sorta expect the next trimester/eventual due date.

I probably could have had two boys if I'd thought to use the radio station or food to influence the gender, but it kinda slipped my mind towards the end, haha. When I was initially using MCCC to 'help' set up the pregnancy I did try to set it to two boys, but that just gave him an extra boy baby on top of the boy/twins and I definitely did not need 3 babies!

I tend use a lot of greek/roman naming schemes due to the fact they're also used in astrology, haha.

Spoiler:
Awww, welcome to the paraneighborhood, Polly & Cas! I love the idea of Jeff mentoring/raising (depending on the kid in question) an army of tiny bros, between them and Luna and the future kid/s. His friendship with Luna was the cutest thing I've seen in a while. (And I'm glad he was on hand to save Miko! I have a dryer in one of my games, and had my matriarch upgrade the lint trap asap because the idea of it catching fire is quite alarming!)

Andy and Miko's 5th rotation is up! Also I've already played through their 6th rotation in-game, so I have a lot more updates I need to get around to writing and posting.

Oh man, if only Jeff could mentor his own kids sports team, that would be amazing. I guess I could always have him start a club with a kids... bowling team? Haha.

My idiot game culled their relationship for some reason, but it was super sweet while it lasted.

I just discovered the lint tray upgrade in their 6th rotation! I had Andy upgrade it immediately; I had a huge disaster in my upcoming Mortis rotation, and I do not need a repeat of it, ever.

Oh my God, Luna and Ariel are too freakin' cute. Can Miko and Andy have a billion babies?? I feel like they'd all be gorgeous green girls (yay alliteration) and I'm here for it.

I am so pleased with how all the babies have been turning out so far, but Miko and Andy's are particularly gorgeous. <3 I could technically fit another baby in their house, but I'm going to have like 20 households to play by the time they all age up if I keep having more.
The 5th rotation is up for the (now) DiCarlo family!

OH MY GOD JASPER IS ADORABLE. I just want to squish him and never let go. at Carlotta smashing the dollhouse and then flying away like she didn't do anything. Lilith's new hair is super cute and fits her so well! I love it. :) I'm kinda sad that you had to kill off Caleb, but too many Sims can get a bit crazy sometimes. And at least you have the Book of Life so there's an option to maybe bring him back at some point!

Playing catch up!
Spoiler:
I'm still not over how cute Andy and Miko are <3

Sims Logic: Can't leave baby alone when you're controlling a family, totally fine when they're unplayable. Still, it was nice that Alec and Jeff popped by. Is Alec named after the Shadowhunter btw? As in, the TV show or the books?

The kids are adorable, but that's no surprise! The toddler playdates are going to be so cute! That ball pit really is an eyesore, isn't it?

As for the DiCarlo family, I'd forgotten ghost pregnancies aren't a thing in this Sims, as they were a thing in TS3. Thank goodness for mods, I guess!

Man, your vampires like a drink, don't they? :D

That's such a shame about Caleb's busted career  It just wouldn't be TS4 if everything worked properly! I also find it amusing how much he cries??

Jasper is so cute bless him! Carlotta smashing his castle is so in character for her, I love it. Poor kid.

Oh gosh, that is a very dramatic Love Day! Glad you were able to get that sorted, Jeff and Alec belong together :D

It's a shame about Caleb and Isobel, but they're really not as interesting as the other sims you have. Plus you did have a lot of vampires. I absolutely love Carlotta's vault, it'll be interesting to see what she gets up to now!
Loved the updates as always, Heather! Looking forward to seeing more :)

He's a little cutie! I took a sneak peek with CAS, as I did for all my other babies, and I'm surprised how much he takes after Isobel! They're all such a good bunch; I'm excited for them to get to their teen years.

She would have actually gotten away with it if I hadn't caught her escape.

I did keep his urn around in the new apartment, and he's popped up a couple of times while I was playing their next rotation, so he'll still be around a little. :) I think around 4 sims is my limit at the moment though, haha. Any more than that and it's just too hard to make sure they all get a little focus.

Spoiler:
It autoships my babies/tots off to daycare whenever both parents are out, so I guess it does the same thing when I'm not playing them. And oh man, yes, he is. I went with Winchester for his surname because of the dumb 'serving people and hunting things' joke, but I wasn't sure what name to give him, so he ended up being named after another kind of hunter. ;)

I've been told the ballpit has actually been improved since it was first released in the pack, so I can't even imagine what garbage they originally came up with.

I'm surprised they didn't go with ghost babies after they put in playable ghosts! I mean consider the game treats them as objects, it wouldn't have been that hard. :P

Not pictured is the bar constantly getting dirty from these idiots spilling their seven drinks a day all over it. ;)

Caleb's one task not working is just scratching the surface of the career issues I've run into so far, haha. Andy's scientist career is borked in more ways than one, the doctor career has a broken receptionist, the detective career only loads one sim for the suspect as I've mentioned, the uniforms for regular careers get accessories piled on like no tomorrow, etc, etc. I'm playing the other branch of the stylist career in my legacy, so I'll have to see if that side is broken, too.

Oh, and he's prone to crying because of his eternal sadness weakness, haha. Isobel actually had it, too, Caleb's just a little more sensitive I guess!

Jasper and Carlotta have the first caregiver/child rivalry I've ever played, and it's very interesting. I've never had a kid actively dislike their parent/guardian before! The teen years with Jaser and Carlotta will be fun.

It's a good thing I went back and checked on them! They're so cute with their twins; it would have been extremely tragic if I had to separate them.

I liked the idea of using the vampire system to create a 'better' ghost, so next rotation I'm trying out two new "vampires", with their perks/weaknesses assigned in an attempt to sort of create other supernatural creatures. Plus, another alien roommate for them, so we'll see how that household goes!

And thank you! <3

Spoiler:
That opening shot is gorgeous :hearts:

I hadn't thought about how seasons would effect Granite Falls! Good shout setting it to summer, I think. Also 100% agree, we need more supernaturals in TS4!

Gosh, I can't believe Cole caught fire and you couldn't extinguish it! You're not having much luck with these TS4 glitches are you

Liv met the Hermit. I'm sure there's a reason why you should go and meet the hermit, but I have no idea. Maybe the area has some really rare bugs? I know there's some that look like soot sprites from the Ghibli movies somewhere.

I love that Felix showed up and did nothing about the fire  Also the toilet is the most romantic place to call your girlfriend.

Wow, I didn't know that about abductions! Gosh, that fire drama was awful! We really do need a fire department, your sims start a lot of fires. At least the do-over when smoothly. The couples are so cute!

Man, the apartment building is noisy  I've only had it like once a rotation at the moment, I hope it stays that way as long as possible!!
Nice update!! :)

Posted the last update for rotation 5 - Rudolf. :) Since I've taken out some sims and will be adding new ones in this upcoming rotation, I will also be making an update introduction post with more current aspirations/traits/careers for all sims.

Nice update!! :)
Spoiler:
To be fair, sometimes I don't think EA considered how seasons was going to affect different area of gameplay, either. Like trying to go to GeekCon in the rain. ;)

I feel like a good 30% of my gameplay time is just looking up different workarounds whenever I run into something that's not working as it should be. Which is probably at least once a rotation... Far too invested in these sims to give up because of some dumb glitches, though!

Yeah I think there's some rare bugs in the area, but I'm not sure if meeting the hermit himself has any benefits. There's also some plants in the area you can harvest, but again seasons complicates their harvest times.

My sims are idiots who can't even be trusted to do their own laundry, apparently. I did find a fix for the lint trap problem thankfully, so that should prevent most fires going forward. And I've been having so many abductions after having to force Jeff's; it's just ridiculous!

Haha, here's hoping your sims aren't noisy bitches like mine! I get several noise complaints per rotation, you're super lucky just having the one! I've found it happens less when the apartment building empties out, but seeing as we've both got full buildings maybe I'm just really unlucky.

Spoiler:
That opening shot with the snow :hearts: cannot wait for winter in my game!

Why do the kids love the hospital so much? Felix strongly believes his violin can cure anything, I'm sure of it.

Just needed to use the shower, eh? sure you did, Cole. Side note, him and Felix are so cute together. Also, Felix's place is clearly the place to be, he's so popular!

The other aliens in your game are so pretty! I found it really amusing that aliens make Felix angry for some reason.

No wonder the Spice Market has raccoons with all that food just laying around. It can be really funny just 'people watching' in the neighbourhood sometimes.

I swear Felix marks every occasion with music

Winter is one of the prettiest seasons!

Kids are germy little gremlins so honestly I shouldn't be surprised by how often they show up.

I've never seen this "shower" scenario pop up with any of my other sims, I'm wondering if it' comes from Cole being a romantic sim? Because it's very clearly a thinly-veiled disguise to come hang out in a towel. And apparently!

It's hilarious whenever sims get mad about aliens in stupid scenarios, like when they're specifically invited out for alien night at the bar and they go 'omg aliens??? no one told me aliens were real!!!' like idiot what did you think was going to happen?

People watching is very entertaining! I really like that the neighbourhoods are open in TS4; it makes them feel so much more lively. That being said, I'm happy there's not a complete open world, because then I'd just feel the need to constantly check that my idiots aren't getting up to stupid shenanigans in the other city districts.

When you can fit a violin in your pocket at all times, every occasion calls for some music!

What Cole really needs to be taking is a nice cold shower, clearly. The purple alien gal is my favourite! I'm going to need to find someone to fix her up with; maybe one of the new neighbours...

You've got some interesting new households this rotation, from looking at the summary! Looking forward to that! :)

As for the Winchesters, I absolutely love their apartment, you've decorated it so nicely :hearts:

I had no idea alien genetics were so broken! That's such a shame, but at least you're aware of it now rather than later. Is there a tutorial to follow for fixing the faces? I only just started using MCCC recently and honestly find it a little bit daunting!

Gosh, everything with the twins was so cute! The whole family is super heartwarming and I loved all the picspam of them bonding :)

 @ Alec discovering aliens despite being friends with Andy!

I don't know much about TS4 vampires, or how they're cured, so it was neat seeing that fight with Lilith. Weird how they just left him alone with Jasper afterwards
A very cute update :D

A very cute update :D
Spoiler:
The big Culpepper apartment is my favourite so far; just big enough that you can get some good family play out of it, but not so massively big that it takes ages for them to get around! And thank you, it's probably my favourite of the bunch. <3 (Although Felix and Cole have my favourite living room.)

I'm not sure if there are any tutorials out there for MCCC and genetics specifically; I kinda just played around with the setting until I found something that works. But, if you need some help keeping Norah's face the same I'd be happy to help you out! I can always take some screenshots for you. :)

I take so so many pictures of these guys in particular, and have to trim them down so that they don't have twice as many as everyone else. Glad the picspam is enjoyable at least!

Alec interacting with any of the supernaturals is always entertaining. The vampire fight was fun; I don't even remember him using the garlic as a weapon the last time I had him cure someone. Again, if you need any help, or tips on TS4 stuff let me know; I'm always happy to share my knowledge! I just don't want to overstep and give you too much help if you prefer figuring that sort of thing out on your own

Yes please! I'm so terrified of doing anything with MCCC, just in case I make things worse somehow!!

I am going to try and learn about vampires through gameplay, but will definitely come to you with any questions I have  Thanks for the offer! I feel like such a TS4 noob even though I've had the game for years!

No problem! I can always write up a lil guide and post it to my blogger. :) And I usually just make a back up of my save before fucking around with MCCC just in case things go wrong, haha.

Sounds good! I've only really got into TS4 this past fall, so I am still learning lots about the game myself. I feel like a good chunk of my play time is spent googling things when I run into a glitch or just can't figure out why something isn't working the way I think it should  Definitely more fun discovering things yourself, though!

Spoiler:
I love the toddler pool, but I didn't realise you could have multiple toddlers in it at once! The pool party was pretty cute! :)

Poor Miko getting attacked by the birds she was trying to feed, but I have to admit I laughed! Glad her career isn't super glitchy, too.

It's good to see there's some differences between the kids with their Parenthood skills, though you're right about the school project - who's going to choose the dumb options?? I also had no idea the toddler tablet was so useful, will definitely be getting that for future toddlers. at Luna's bear phase, I haven't had a sim do that yet.

I've not made my own holiday yet, but club activities definitely help with getting sims to do things you want them to.

Loving the fashion choices made by the scientists :D How weird (and amusing) that the toddlers get pulled to Sixam! Polly and Cas were very cute, even if they weren't meant to be there. And I love Sixam, I take far too many screenshots when I sent my sims.
Nice update, as always <3
