I believe there is the option to Subscribe Topic at the bottom of the page. Does this not work?

I think that option would PM you every post that is made to the thread. So not just the actual updates, but everyone's response. The idea I have in mind is more filtered.
That sounds a bit too specific for a forum, how is a forum supposed to know that it's a story update or the author replying to comments? If you're wanting emails when stories get updated, since I don't think we've got a single person on this forum who does the updates in the thread, it's probably best to go directly to the blog the author has set up for their story and subscribe at the source. If that's the reason you want a more specific subscribe.

Is there a way to disable the games section from being counted by 'the 3 most viewed threads' and 'the 3 most replied threads'?
It kind of feels like it defeats the purpose of having those if it's just the games stuff that shows up. Except for Keika's White Legacy that has managed to beat the games section for views. I know when I log off I can see other threads, since the games section doesn't show up to non-members. Is it possible to make that work when they can be viewed?

I will look at the settings this week.

I second this request. I finally figured out a couple of weeks ago that if I don't log in, the most recent active topics I see are Sims-related, which I'm more interested in over the Off-Topic stuff that usually dominates the top of the Home Page. So I usually don't log in here anymore, except to post.

An app to view the forum on a like a tablet or phone.. I hate going through Google on my tablet or phone. It would be cool to have like a mobile app. Just an idea :wizard:

I checked the options and I cannot select only certain forums to display. I can change the number of topics that show up or I can turn it off.

It's okay. I was just curious.
Speaking of most viewed topics, Keika's White legacy has reached number one over all the off-topic ones. I'm a biased sister, but that sounds medal worthy to me.

Thanks for checking!

Will we get the safe SSL certificate again? Logging in without it feels really strange and is holding me back from coming back to the forum most of the time. (there is no https, only http which doesn't encrypt your data)

The forums have never had SSL certificates, but I have put in a request with the hosting provider to see about getting them added. They are looking into what it will cost and will let me know.

Okay, the hosting provider has added the SSL so it should be loading with https now.

Well, when the SSL was added it apparently broke the Tapatalk app, so until I can figure out how to fix that, it is broken. I am working on figuring that out and will try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

An app to use to access forums when you are on mobile. Instead of going through a browser.
