In other words, is it ever worth picking the same duck or the same gnome on a different day, or would it be pointless to do that because the results would be the same and/or against the rules? I didn't see anything against picking the same numbers or names but wasn't sure how it worked for sure.
Thanks for any info!
With Hook a Duck
I have a set list ... so each number has a set prize.
so no definitely don't pick the same duck more than once.
GNOME TOMBOLA
I guess I should have explained this one on the main thread!!
For that I have another list but it is done differently.
the numbered list are of the prizes/no prize ... not set against a particular gnome.
To determine what happens i use
THIS SITE to roll the dice which picks the number and prize.
so say the dice lands on one for you 1 = win the gnome .... so he decides to come live with you.
The prizes coming at you are going to be very random ... one member might get a lot of lube stars, another might get a lot of member stars.
Im not watching or counting what im giving out ... the dice decides so basically it is just all luck!!
Each gnome is unique if you have not already noticed .. so only one person will get one gnome.
so anyone asking for a gnome that has gone, you will get a
"?? has gone to live with another member. please try again" sign if the number lands on a no prize.
and if the roll lands on a prize, you will still get the prize.
If the gnome has not gone to anyone yet and you get a no prize roll ... you get a grumpy / do not disturb sign
certain names trigger a House or Boolprop gnome - so those gnomes more than one person will have.
so in answer to your question ... I guess it is okay to ask for a gnome more than once ... as something different will happen each time.
But if you ask for a gnome again after you get a they have gone to live with someone sign, you will never get the gnome from it.
