Nice!

I'm coming up with my main character's first fight. He's woefully outmatched. I'm just trying to find the flow of the fight.

I ended up changing my main female character from a werewolf to a witch because I was talking things over with my sister and she pointed out that her storyline felt like its own novel, but I really like the secondary part that I had come up with...a quick switcharoo later and things make much more sense without feeling like two separate stories! Hopefully it'll stay that way as I'm writing.

The stories do like to take things in weird directions sometimes. I was only going to have four central characters. But looks like a fifth person wants to join the party. Oh well odd numbers are a little better.

I'm considering adding some POV chapters from my antagonist, but we'll see how things go. It's just an inkling of a thought right now, but if she demands her own chapters, it'll definitely happen.

I have been thinking of adding a new character too, something that I've thought about and once I finish the chapter I'm on I might introduce her. She is going to be a historian from the year 2025 who has been tracking Sebastian (my demon assassin) through time and like the TARDIS, she can travel back to the the time he's in and observe him in person. Sort of like a fully immersive VR trip to the past...or something. I haven't figured out how the technology would work yet, I'm no scientific engineer.

I'm at just over 5,000 right now and I'm not even worried about it. I knew going in I wouldn't hit 50,000, but I have gotten back into a habit of writing, which was my main goal. I'm counting it as a win. We'll see how far I end up actually getting during the last half of the month, but I don't see myself getting much past 10,000.

I really want to hit 50k for the first time ever this year. But I'm finding it hard to find the time to write. Not looking forward to the busyness of Thanksgiving. But good news I've broken all but one of my previous writing records for nano.

I think you should count that as a win too!

I'm not certain of the new character I'm adding. But right now my main character doesn't have any friends. The people he's with are kindish to him, but they're not his friends. So I gave him a friend he could relate too better. But I don't know if it's one character too many

You've seen my Sims stories Pony, I have casts of up to 20 at a time and somehow they all work...I have no clue how that ends up working but it does. I need someone to really challenge Sebastian though, someone he can't pwn so easily in a fight (he ALWAYS wins) because he's a demon. I'm thinking this VR time traveling historian is just the right person to frustrate him and challenge him enough. :D

I have to rewrite what I wrote today. My characters aren't doing quite what I want them to do. Those little rebels. Luckily, I only wrote a little.

I'm barely at 5,000 but I've been busy with work the last few days. I'm hoping to be able to write quite a bit more this weekend.

Now at 42690 so I'm nearly done already, at least for hitting the 50k mark. Story won't be over by then no chance I still have three more centuries to get through before my finale.

Only just found this thread, how did I miss it? I'm trying to finish my novel from last Nano this year. Have just added a bunch of you - I'm somebodysangel on there.
Very slow going, there's just so much other stuff going on with work and family, I'm finding it difficult to find time to write. And when I do have time, I just want to sit and relax. But I'm determined to finish this thing, even if I don't get 50k this year.

I'm so close to 30k. It's just so hard finding time to write. But even if I don't hit 50 during November. I'm going to keep pressing on. So far I'm really enjoying the story and the characters.

I have a feeling mine is going to be longer than 50k too. I'm not even at the halfway point and I'm sitting at 30k. Another big fight is about to come up. But I got to think of a dragon name and type.
