What's everybody's favourite part of their BaCC? Mine is looking back at the end of week family pictures, and seeing babies grow into toddlers, and getting a proper look at their faces.

Mine, I think, is the beginning where the town is still small and everyone is working hard to build things up. Probably tied is watching the second generation grow up and start families with their friends that they grew up with.

Favorite part for me is the early stages when you're actively working towards unlocking careers so that your Sims can reach their LTW. Second favorite is watching the Sims grow up and have kids and watching those kids grow up to do the same thing.

Favourite part of a B.A.C.C. is getting the first business to rank 10/ also when the multiply starts getting higher :)

Two favorite parts for me:
Achieving SM points, and being pleasantly surprised when I play a household, usually stemming from something funny that my Sim(s) do(es).

Some of my favorite parts are: seeing the different numbers (SM, population, taxes collected) go up, coming up with businesses for the different families and building them, seeing the different families meet and interact with each other, and seeing what the silly townies get up to in the background. :) Lots of different fun aspects, really.

And this made me itch to go back to my BaCC, although I'd kind of want to do the Halloween challenge first... :hmm:

BACC has been my most favorite challenge to the day to be honest! I love to see the city grow and the amount of generations grow too. Interactions between the sims are interesting!

My current save is BACC Huntsville (nothing resembles the real life Huntsville). The main families are on 4th generation and the city has 143 playable sims if you don't count pets.

That's awesome! Are you documenting it at all? I love reading BACCs and seeing how different people play theirs. :)

I used to document it looooooong time afterwards on my Dreamwidth but i realized it'd be way too much work so i quit. I post updates on it on my Tumblr whenever i play it (i also have character board and info page on it on that blog) it's very confusing though sadly since i started playing it without intention of posting it online ;_;

I just realized all of my Sims always stay married and grow old with their high school sweethearts. Kind of boring and not very realistic. Do your Sins get divorced? How do you decide which Sims have to break up, even when they already have children? I’m trying to keep my BACC as realistic as possible, and I’m thinking about using some kind of randomizer.

I'll admit mine generally do the same, I'm a big old softie and don't want to make my simmies feel bad. :lol: Even if ACR causes some romantic drama, I generally try to patch it up afterwards. That's an interesting idea though, randomizing it sounds like it could work. Or if you have ACR, you could randomize some settings so that it results in a bit of drama, which could also lead to some divorces.

I tend to keep Sims together, even if there has been an affair. I almost wish they would roll a wish to break up so I didn't have to decide, but I've never seen that wish come up.

I try to stagger relationships, some marry their high school sweetheart, some their college sweethearts, some wait until adulthood to find their spouses. I do eventually want to have more blended families though. With single parents and step parents.

I don't usually have my teens date just because I forget about it, so most of my sims marry someone they met in college or soon after becoming an adult.

I think college or early adulthood is more common for my sims too, though I think I have more teen romances now than I had before ACR. So perhaps it's more college sweethearts than high school sweethearts in my case. ACR does mix it up a bit for me, and some Romance sims are exceptions, but still, my sims tend to find one sim and live happily ever after.

I like the idea of some non- Happily Ever After realism in a BaCC. Most of us seem to play to keep our Sims happy, but it does get repetitive, household after household. I would go with a randomizer to choose a less ideal path for some of my Sims.

I have a randomizer that determines that..not to mention I can never keep my sims alive *shifty eyes* lol. So I have a really good mix which I'm grateful for . Keeps my game play interesting
