I'm trying to follow the official rules but I won't be doing any of the scoring and I'm not being too strict either. Succession Laws are Equality, Traditional and Random (or by poll).
People rudely interrupting conversations makes me laugh in TS4 Anyone can just join in.
Sofia and Travis are so adorable ^_^
That diamond looks huge on Travis' hand xD
Can't wait for more!
Sofia and Travis make an adorkable couple x3 It should be interesting to see how their sprogs look like after they emerge from their crib into a fully fledged child. :')
Omigosh! I just about died at 'Ooo! New Diablo patch! That'd be my boyfriend! hahahaha! xD I'd be all 'SHOOFLEE?!' Like "help me or suffer the consequences!
If you like sim stories that combine challenges with celebrities and Final Fantasy references sprinkled throughout, than this is the story for you-even if you don't. Special thanks to all the simmers who uploaded your creations on Origin! A few sims and buildings are my creations.
Thanks everyone for the lovely comments! I should have the next part up either tonight or sometime tomorrow. I might manage to post a couple of chapters over the weekend as I'm having a long one, so that should be good. That's if I can tear myself away from actually playing - I'm a fair bit ahead in-game now, Eleanor's been a teen for a few days already! And I think I've settled on an heir as well.
I'm also a little bit troubled, just because I'm not sure how I want to play. In TS2, I would play the main legacy family and then when the spare kids grew up and moved out I would go on a rotation around the neighbourhood, playing them all evenly because I hated my spares just dying off. I'm not sure if I should go the same route here by turning auto-aging off and playing all of my legacy households on a rotation or just plop my spares in a house, give them a spouse and check on them now and again by giving them some kids or something.
And honestly, I'm still finding it really hard to adjust to no family trees. Has anyone gotten far enough to see how it shows their relationships with distant relatives? For example, would it show a kid's aunt as their aunt or would it just be acquaintance? I'm going to find it really jarring if they come across each other on a lot or something and it shows them as not related when they are :/
Enough of my rambling! What do you guys think, anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how I should go about it?
Teresa; Yeah, I think I might do that. I'll have to turn aging off and play it like TS2 then because I don't want my main Legacy household to carry on without me (even though there's no story progression, I don't want to skip days or anything).
Thanks Ally and LostInReverie!
Spoiler:
The pikachu top is one of my favourite pieces of CC so far, it's so cute!
The bathroom is nice but still kinda bare, they ran out of Simoleans pretty quick haha.
Eleanor is such a cutie! :3 I also love the house~ You have some superior decorating skills!
I can't believe that old lady came over to their house to die :uhoh: but at least Death is as awesome as ever!
Hehe, I was playing earlier and it's just so weird that i was playing sims and the sim was playing sims XD
Eleanor is a cutie, hehe. I really like her.
Ah, thank you! It's hard to decorate properly when they have so little money though
I know, I couldn't believe it when it happened! I was laughing so hard at the whole thing, it was totally ridiculous. I love Death in TS4, he's brilliant. Hopefully when he shows up next time there will be sims around to interact with him.
