Chapter 1.1

Here is Aspen Breen, from a legacy I'm doing over on the Sims forums. He is family-orientated, a geek and active. He has the Nerd Brain aspiration. He is also a closet bookworm as every time I let him on free will, he goes to the bookshelf and grabs a book to read! His tiny home is situated in Oasis Springs.
Aspen spends some time learning logic on Sunday before he starts work as a Scientist.
The Welcome Wagon arrives and he make some new friends, who we won't see much of later on!!
When he goes into wokr, he finds that there are already some aliens working in the lab. Astro Clawwarm is their leader and talks to Aspen about helping them work out why they can't reproduce on this planet. Aspen agrees to help without getting all the details...
The other alien, Alexa Thiessen, introduces herself as well.
Aspen gets to work, fulfilling his daily work requirements as well as building the necessary equipment for contacting or travelling to space.
After work, he takes the satellite dish home and starts using it to contact aliens. Astro comes to visit and talks more about what it's like to be a sim.
I take my eyes off him for a few minutes while trying to find all the locations of the crystal/metals to dig up and I come back to find him doing this with Naomi Holmby
. I know she's his girlfriend in the other legacy but not here. That's why the Rose Serum is bad.
And then again the next day
I'm aware that the founding sim isn't supposed to have woohoo with anyone outside of marriage but every time I take my eyes off Aspen, he does this!
At least he's also managing to get other things done too!
Unfortunately, there is now a slight complication. Naomi hates children, so Aspen will be raising the little nooboo alongside the alien children that he'll have. When he finally gets abducted...
Finished the spaceship!!
A couple of days later, baby Kailyn is born and immediately moved into the household.
And of course, that is the time that the aliens decide to abduct Aspen for the first time
Not that he's too upset about it.
House got expanded a little.
Aspen meets another alien, Roxane. We will be seeing her later on.
A second abduction but still no pregnancy
It was about this time that I decided to check my settings and found that Aspen couldn't get pregnant, so I had to fix those ready for the next time.
Kailyn aged up into an independent toddler.
And that's where I'll leave it for today. I hope to get all gen 1 posted before the end of January, and maybe catch up to gen 2 as well if I need to do another heir poll.

. I should get the next update done within the next couple of weeks - just got to find enough time to sit down and write it! Then I’ll have to get back to it after finishing the Summer Fete challenge...
