The last time I tried to kill somebody with the berry bush I got the same glitch you had! My sim got set on fire, ran around for an hour while screaming, and when the "on fire!"-debuff ran out she was OK. Three times in a row, before she too died of hunger. I always wondered what was up with that :0

if its a complete separate issue than what I was having with Holli that doesn't even surprise me anymore. The sim attracted bugs
