A kind of Sims 3 legacy

Post by Waterdragon »

Hi there,
I´m new here.

After reading a lot of sim stories I wanted to do my own. I started a legacy without really having any plan at all and got in trouble, when I had to choose a heir for the second generation, because I get too attached to my Sims. So I didn´t choose, but decided to do a kind of triple legacy, based on the three kids of the founder. So in every generation, there are three "heirs", and everyone gets to have one child only, who´s automatically the next in the line.
So, I have to take them all, clones, face ones, everyone. Actually, that makes it easier most of the time.

Of course, with three heirs, there would be too many sims in the household most of the time. So some of them do move out, because I don´t overstuff the house, mostly when they have reached their lifetimewish and the kids are teens. Or if they get boring or too annoying. I keep the ones I like to much to give them over to story progression.

Basicaly it´s a legacy without any rules. I don´t cheat too much (never for money), but everything the game dynamics allow, I can use.
There´s not much of a story - I take a lot of photos and comment them. I try to be funny.

The beginning is here: http://waterdragonsblog.com/?p=29
The chapters are here: http://waterdragonsblog.com/?page_id=20
I´m afraid, there are already over 90 chapters (they are not very long), so I won´t link them seperately.

Oh, and I´m from Germany, so if there are any horrible grammatical errors, please let me know.

Hey and welcome to the forums! :)
I love your founders name, Violetta Dust! So pretty and unique!
And oh my goodness, the mermaid toddler playing in the water is probably the cutest thing ever!! :D

Thank you! :)
I learned my lesson with that "playing in ocean" interaction. When I first tried it (in a different save) my sim dunked her daughter into the water while she was wearing that thick brown teddybear suit and socks. Still adorable but... well.

With the last one I reached chapter 100. They are short, but still... yay me?
