Update 16

I'm only on Update 1 so far, but what a great challenge. I can't wait to see Red's shenanigans!

I am such an idiot sometimes I should have worked that out because Red does paint the same pictures over and over in every file I put her in

I will change a few of her traits to see what happens

Omg, yes. Insane sims make the most interesting ones ever. I am starting to want to try this challenge! Sounds like fun.

Yeah you should try it - it is fun when you get a mental family to keep you entertained

It would be interesting to see you doing it with a an insane sim

Now you have got my brain twiddling - i have been sat here thinking - when Im bored im going to give Red just two traits - Artistic and another - and see how many different paintings I can find
I have always wandered just how many paintings there are available for them to paint - I would LOVE to find all of them.

I use a painting replacement mod because I just get bored with standard EA.

I found a thing about traits and paintings here. It's down towards the bottom.

This tells you that there are 1422 possible paintings total. o.O I might have to paint them all one day.

Mmmm -- there are only actually 158 different paintings
but there are 9 versions of each painting making the 1422

That would be some challenge to do - but very possible!!!

The 9 versions come with 9 traits

Computer Wizz
Evil

Grumpy
Insane
Neurotic
Virtuoso

Once you have found the 158 paintings -
Having the sim with only one trait at a time- you could could produce the 158 paintings for each trait
you would need the sim to live a very long time - but it is doable


and now I look at what Red has painted in this challenge - she has not found hardly any of the paintings -
i can now see there are lots that are a different version of one of the paintings
so basically this challenge is scrap and needs to be started over - Red having just ONE trait to start with

Okay - so now - my head has gone off on one - we can actually turn this into a legacy challenge

9 generations - each heir must have a different trait and create their version of the 158 paintings during their lifetime - from child to elderly there should be enough time because you could make them continuously paint

That's an interesting concept and makes it seem like it will be a very long journey to the end.

Yeah it would be I think - quite a challenge!!
