Happy birthday Ani-Mei!

Yeah, I'm with Sam - Part of the reason I started writing my Zales was because I wanted something that made me keep playing. Otherwise I tired of families usually before the Gen 3. I had one save file, they made all their money breeding, training, racing and selling horses, I made them to Gen. 5... And with Generation O on the ground in my alphabetcy, I'm pretty happy with that!

OK, I've done a quick search around the forum and haven't found it -- HOW DO I GET SORTED INTO A HOUSE??

With the sorting hat, duh. (I kid. Check out this thread!)

And Heather, 15 generations is a massive accomplishment ESPECIALLY with a blog to accompany it. I mean, some of us are stupidly proud of ourselves after five. :sarcastic:

I'm on Generation 7, starting from 2009. I'm pretty sure nobody can beat that.

Kind of late, but happy birthday, Ani-Mei! Also, Echo, I hope you found the Olympics sign-up thread!

I think publishing anything legacy-related is a huge accomplishment, but I was also super shy about joining the Sims community for years. :misspeak: I would definitely have more time to play and publish if I wasn't working full-time and if I didn't start my legacy when I was in grad school (bad idea, kids). I'm hoping I can push through publishing all of Generation 5 in the next couple of months so I can have an heir poll and actually play the Scatterdays again, but who knows what work and life will be like.

Generation Green, (which is generation 5 ! 0_0) has been born! I really need to chill and write more but I can't help it. It's the first time I've done a generational challenge in Sims 3 and WHY DID NO ONE WARN ME IT'S ADDICTIVE?!?

Lol, so agree with you, Ani-Mei! In game, I'm almost a whole generation ahead of where my posting is at, because they're so much fun to play! Thank goodness for heir polls, forces me to stop playing and catch up with the posting :)

It is so easy to do a generational challenge in Sims 3, and it is incredibly easy to play far ahead. I'm also about a generation ahead in game versus posting - I just finished posting my Gen. 4 chapters and I'm about to start Gen. 5, while Gen. 6 is just about to take over in-game. I've decided to (finally) do an heir poll for Natalie and Puzzle's kids, because a) I have multiple candidates, b) none of them are too cloney, and c) none of them have glitched out on me *cough*HESTIA*cough* so I haven't touched the Scatterday save since then. But yes, it is very easy to play super far ahead in game!

I'm also going to try to post an update tomorrow night. Work has been busy for the past few days, and I've just been too exhausted to try to write things. Bah. If I don't post tomorrow night, I'll post one this weekend.

Gah. This reinforces just how far behind I am in my reading. Argh!

I'm trying to catch up. Also trying to finish my Wonderlands post tonight, which is the last post for Generation 2! Get ready for some Insane vampire action once the torch is passed. Also a mate poll is fairly short order, since none of Franklin's options are really jumping out at me.

I am going to write chapters, I have enough pictures for THREE more chapters, enough to finish up Carrot's generation and start on Yellow's. Though it seems I am moving every generation now, Yellow has moved for the fourth time since Clear nearly lost her house to a meteor strike in Sunset Valley so long ago...I have enough towns to make it to generation 9 which is awesome.

Ain't nuthin wrong with moving around. I certainly don't want to play on the same lot it the same world for a bunch of generations.

I move because things start getting wonky, like the school becoming unplayble or pop ups saying so and so has aged up but still looks like the previous age group. Also I think the longevity of my fairies, vamps, and genies messes up things with their memories and character files getting too large.

Hmm. Memories are known for really messing things up. I turn them off. It's too bad. I like the idea of that system.

I have them turned off too, they don't even show up in their scrapbooks and yet I still have to move. And I also know the end is nigh when I get 50+ script and error trap pop ups clogging my screen corner. Yes, it happened before they even got started in Moonlight Falls I got like 75 error trap and script error pop ups all at once. It works now, for the time being.

Hmmm. Have you ever submitted those to the NRaas forum to ask what they're errors about? Those guys are really awesome, or at least they were a couple of months ago when I last hung out there.

I still can't read more than the simplest of ErrorTrap error logs, but I've never failed to have a response from the forum within a few days.
