A looot of legacies aren't writing heavy; I know a few people just take a couple of screenshots then literally just say what happened. It's haaaard though, I haven't completed a single published challenge yet

Well, I missed out the first 3 weeks (I was using this simmy to do the Club Tournament Challenge over at Carl's) but then I hooked her up with Joaquin le Chien and got them started on a family! I took some screenies (man, it's harder than it looks) and I'll start posting those soon, well, as soon as work allows anyway lol

I have a question: can we host the story directly here? Or do we have to host on an external blog and post links only?

You could host a story on Boolprop but I always recommend hosting externally because the Boolprop forum system isn't particularly suited to the story format; down to you in the end tho! Whatever is easier

I have a question, I am going to be playing my sims 4 legacy for more than 10 generations. So will I only get points for when I reach generation 5 and when I decide to finish it? Or will I get points for every 5 generations sense it is going to go on for more than 10? I am assuming the former.

I do believe we were talking about awarding points for certain milestones in longer legacies - I dont think it's been finalised yet though.

Yeah if you complete a legacy, you are probably only getting the end of a legacy. The question is being to the over 15 generation challenges.
Overseers have a finalization on whether or not the generation milestone will count.

For the reaching Generation 5 of a legacy points, are those awarded when you post the last chapter of Generation 4, or the first chapter of Generation 5? I just posted the last Generation 4 chapter of my legacy, but if I need to wait until I post Chapter 5.1 for those points it's no big deal!

Well I seem to have gotten partial answers, I have reached Generation 5 in my Rainbowcy, they've already teened. Do I just need to post the picture or the actual chapter? I am not there yet to start Gen. Green's chapters.

I have a spin off question from this. When I post chapters, they aren't titled Generation 5 until they are in Uni. So is the milestone counted when they are born, or when they officially take over the mantle of 'this is our generation now'?

And if someone theoretically entered and won the build it challenge, then they would get points for participating, points for winning, and points for getting the medal. Do I have that right?

@Ani-Mei You would need to post the chapter as we need that evidence to count the points.
@Wistful It would be when Gen 5 take the mantle I.e. The first of your chapters which is labelled Gen 5
And yes you can get points for participation, winning and medal all at once

Okay well my generation five chapters are up under my Gen. Yellow heiress and my Gen. Gen heir is about to get his chapters started.

I have a question (should probably put this in the Legacy chat): which gen is gen 5? Is it Founder plus 4? Or, Founder plus 5? To me, its the latter, but if the general rule of thumb is the former, I would like to know so I can get points at the "right" gen!

It's all down to how you classify your legacy tbh. If you count your founder as Gen 1 (as I do in my own challenges), your founder's gen plus four more would be Gen 5. If you count your founder as Gen 0, it's your founder's gen plus five more.
