I love your updates! All your sims are super interesting - btw, totally get your comment about the pregnant mermaid, I was oddly excited to see the baby bump myself the first time I had a pregnant mermaid in game! I love reading about your Culpepper Pals - so much that I've taken your idea and applied it in my game - it makes for great gameplay! Looking forward to more updates, super happy that Marnie now has Luna <3

Spoiler:
They're so quirky, I really enjoy playing them! They were a lot of fun to write  I love Ana, I can't wait to see what she gets up to as she grows! I'm so glad I moved them to Newcrest, it definitely feels like a good fit. The Titan-Ojos are probably going to be half the population at this rate
graymondaysleep:
Spoiler:
It's perfect for them, isn't it  unfortunately Cass didn't pass the powers down to Danny

They're such a cute and quirky family

Spoiler:
Thank you! It's a lot of fun to play these guys, I'm glad it comes across! I'm not sure why the little mermaid bump brought me so much joy, but I'm glad it's not just me  I really enjoy sharing these guys with you, it's really nice seeing how many people have go on to try rotational gameplay for themselves! I hope you have fun with it! :) Marnie and Luna are so sweet together, I can't wait to share more of them!
----
Thanks guys
I have been absolutely wrapped up in work lately, but I have almost finished playing the rotation! I don't want to get too far ahead, so I started a "just for fun" side Culpepper save to play while I catch up on writing updates. Basically, I've dropped in the original Culpepper founders into a save with slightly different clothes & aspirations and I'm just seeing what they get up to! I've been posting a few pictures of it over at tumblr, I'm calling it Culpepper Remixed  all those pictures are here if you're interested!

As for the regular Culpeppers, I'm here with an update! Let's visit Dusty, Summer and Tori! :)

Time for a DOUBLE update!
Summer with Kirby and Caleb - and they're making some big changes to their life! And then we visit Dolly, who has a very productive summer!

Both of these updates are quite chunky, so maybe grab yourself a cup of tea/coffee before getting started :coffee:

Spoiler:
Aaa I was so excited to find not one, not two, not three...but FOUR updates to catch up on!
Brows - Noo Dusty!! :( Poor Summer and Tori, they really had a hard time accepting her loss. I love the shot of the girls dancing together - looks so cool! Dusty keeps being adorable even after her death, I've never had a ghost cheer at a birthday party! She's awesome! I also adore the family pictures you post at the end of each chapter, I know that when you have a lot of sims, those must be a hassle to plan but the outcome is definitely worthit in the end :)
Bells - I thought I was the only one that hates the social butterfly aspiration, whenever I give it to any of my kids I never end up finishing it. Bessie is such an appropriate name for a cowplant... and we lose Adora as well :( Tania taking that selfie cracked me up though! Congrats on cloud gazing your way to achieve the social butterfly aspiration! Love Travis being a total dad ^^
Vatore - loved that little pre-move-in townie scene! Wow, the new town looks amazing! Also Kirby with a bunny is a picture that deserves to be framed! She's such a cutie - I always worry about having vampires in game because I get bored of playing them but Kirby & Caleb sure do know how to keep things interesting. Wow those lights in the trees look amazing! All in all your updated made me fall in love with Henford-on-Bagley!
Vatore 2 - Oh Dolly, Dolly, Dolly! She looks like such a fun sim to play with. I adore her with Diego - never crossed my mind to make him a spell caster but it seems to fit him to a T! Okay, so I'm rushing here...but I'm curious if they ever get kids whether they will inherit their spellcaster or vampire abilities! And I end my comments with, Ra-ra-rasputin! haha some times the sims really cracks me up with its naming choices!

Yay! More Culpeppers! And quite a few updates I've missed from the looks of things!
Spoiler:
Ah gosh, 2 passings in the rotation! Dusty and Adora! I must admit the families don't look the same without them do they, but it's interesting the directions they can take. The acting career looks great and very fitting for the daughter of a famous artist. And poor Travis left with the two girls. Gah, my heart when he was outside grilling. Adora certainly led a full and never dull life and through it all she seemed such a sweetheart.
God I really love the direction the Vatores have taken this rotation (both of them!). Really enjoyed seeing the direction you took the gameplay in those updates and looking forward to where Dolly and the wider family goes next!

Spoiler:
Plenty of reading material then  especially as both the Vatore updates were quite long this season!!
Brows: I was absolutely gutted letting her go, even though I knew it was time :( I love getting Tori and the girls together, it's so nice that they're all so close! This was the first time I'd seen a ghost do it! It was really nice that she came back in time for it :) I love the family portraits, I'm so glad I started doing them again - it can be a bit of a hassle in ts4, I much prefer doing it in ts2! And I've seen some of yours for your Elwood Rose 'hood, you have a lot of patience posing that many sims!!
Bell: Gosh it's definitely the worst one. I very rarely give it to anyone, as I know I'll drag my heels completing it  Love Bessie! It was really sad letting go of Adora :( I absolutely love Tania, she's quickly becoming one of my favourites! Definitely recommend cloud gazing for quick socializing  Travis is the best dad!
Vatore: I had it in my head the whole time I was watching the pre-release stuff for the pack and knew I had to include it  Kirby is so cute, I'm so glad she was able to befriend a bunny  I was also worried that having them around forever would get dull, but I suppose they change course every now and then :hmm: the pair of them are always trying something new! I absolutely love Henford-on-Bagley!
Vatore 2: She is so much fun to play - the vampire & serial romantic aspiration were such a good combo! I hadn't thought much about Diego before but now I love the guy  he makes a great spellcaster! I *think* it's a 50/50 chance whether they'll be vampire or spellcaster babies - personally, if/when they have a kid I'm hoping for a spellcaster, because I don't want too many sims living forever! Rasputin was such a great name choice  this game, honestly!
sueplayssims:
Spoiler:
I have been updating a lot lately

I was gutted to lose them both this season, even though I knew it was coming :( Their families look so different without them! It is nice watching the kids grow up and set out into the world, though. I'm so excited to play the acting career with Tori! My heart absolutely broke for Travis, he definitely took the loss hard :( All in all she was a great sim to play, even if her life went in a totally different direction to where I thought it would go when I started!
I absolutely loved playing both of the Vatore households this season :D It's been fun working with the little surprises the game throws at you!
----
Thanks guys
I've already got an update as I'm still trying to catch up to where I am in game  let's go spend a summer with the Ember family!

D O U B L E - U P D A T E!
The last household of the season - Max and Taeko Vatore - followed by an interlude with Tania Scott!

We'll be in Autumn 3 soon, so just a head's up: I'm starting autumn with the Titan-Ojos this season, for reasons I'll explain in that update. I'm only changing the order this once, and it's for a good reason :)

Spoiler:
Ember - we saw a little bit of Glimmer brook sunshine this chapter and the world does look quite nice! Caroline grew up into quite a pretty teen! You're right, they're a picture perfect family ^^ Super cute update!
Vatore 3 - good call about having both Max and Taeko drop out, it's great that you were able to pin-point what was making you drag your heels to play them. Besides, sims are allowed to change their minds as well and they both ended up in careers that fit their personalities well. Bonnie is adorable!!! And it's also a house change for the Vatore's, they had a season full of changes! It's such a nice idea to combine the households - I love little Bonnie and this way she will get to enjoy her grandparents more as she grows older!
I loved Tania's Strangerville adventure and the overview was a nice summary of all that happened this rotation, plus I love looking at those family pictures! Looking forward to more Culpeppers!

Spoiler:
Ember:
I really like Glimmerbrook! This is the first family I've played there, but it's nice so far! I do wish the world had a few more lots in it, though. They're such a cute family  I'd honestly let Elsie & Morgyn have more children if I wasn't trying to keep the population down
Vatore 3:
They're so much better to play now I've had them drop out, honestly. I'm glad I decided to do it. And you're right, people change their minds all the time! I love Bonnie  and I can't wait to watch her grow up in the countryside with her grandparents! Very much looking forward to visiting them in the autumn!
Tania is so much fun to play! And I really enjoy the family portraits, and seeing how they change from one season to the next!
Trip:
Welcome! Glad to hear it, I'm pleased other people seem to enjoy these guys too! :D

The first update of autumn 3 is here!
We're visiting the Titan-Ojos first this time round - I explain why in the update :)

Yay, more Culpeppers! :applause:
Spoiler:
I don't know that Bonfire Night is well known over "on this side of the pond", but I do actually know it. I changed Harvestfest too (anglophile) calling it Gnome Gnight because I wanted to keep the gnomes and that seemed like a silly Sims-esque name for it. /tangent

The fireworks thing: there's a bug due to the Finchwick Fair. It's checking for City Living festivals, and the Finchwick Fair makes that check break. There's a similar problem with building rockets. Simvasion's made mods to fix both of these issues, and you can use Eco Living's Technophile NAP to get NPCs to start the rocket for you, but it's still annoying.
Looking forward to the next update!

Yeah I'm never sure whether it's one people know about or not? I do enjoy the gnomes thing!! Might have to work that in again somewhere else...:)

Thanks for letting me know! I've downloaded the mod, so hopefully it'll work as normal next time. Typical that they break in game features every update

I've just finished reading this after finding it a couple of weeks ago, I am obsessed! This is a wonderful idea for a story and I totally want to try it myself one day, though I'm waiting at least until my DITFT challenge gives me an interesting spare that I can save and ship over. Your writing and picture-taking skills are both incredible! Looking forward to more Culpeppers :)

Danny really suits the longer hair! And congrats on the top notch toddler! They're so sweet and I love how your sims are becoming a big extended family.
Must admit I laughed so much when you had to quit the game without saving as Marnie laughed herself to death!!
Some lovely autumn shots there too!

Yes an update!!!
Spoiler:
It was definitely worth the wait! :) Currently I'm taking a little sims break myself so I totally understand being too busy to play or to write down a chapter update. I love the scenery pictures that you take! Catching up with the Goths was nice, I'm glad you did not save when Marnie died! It's not her time yet! Bonfire night was beautiful, I love when you invite the whole family over to celebrate together. Looking forward to the next update and thank you for posting!

I really enjoyed playing the Goths, even if it nearly cost me Marnie  there was no way I could let her go! I think Bonfire Night was my favourite part of the week, I love getting the extending family together

Wow what an update!
I really like Tori and Thorne together actually, I think they really suit each other and it's nice how their whims have directed your gameplay and story in that path.
The girls meeting up was so nice, I love it when you have groups together socialising - makes it seem so much more real. I loved how the girls were all discussing what's going on with their lives and various interests and stuff. Really nice that the family has moved in with Thorne and once again you seem to have another child adopted in to your gameplay! haha! so it'll be nice to see how things progress with Orange too.
