What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
So here's a fun story: I had a couple with maxed out green friendship bar, and a maxed out pink romance bar. They've been together almost a sim week, they're best friends...so naturally thought I'd progress things and get them engaged. Picked a nice spot, had them flirt and kiss beforehand...and the proposal was unexpectedly rejected!
Their relationship bars obviously took a hit, nothing I wouldn't be able to repair but...what would you do?
Would you keep them together and try again later on? Would you split them up because something's clearly not quite right?
I'm really not sure where to go with this, I'd love to hear your opinions!

I usually keep them together and try again later. One time it took me 5 tries to get them together lol

Re: What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
Almost all of my sims reject the first proposal. I wait until the embarrassment wears off and try again.
Re: What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
I think it depends on how much i 'want' them to be together. Sometimes I do take it as a sign, and leave it!

Re: What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
Someone I follow on tumblr had that same problem. She had to have both of them try multiple times before one of them finally accepted the proposal. Sometimes our Sims can be dumb.

Re: What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
Looks like it's a common problem then I think I'm inclined to agree with Abby on this one, rather than 'forcing it'. But we'll see, I guess! My sims might have other ideas
Re: What Would You Do: Rejected Proposal
In one instance, I was so dead set on the two becoming a couple that I just had the rejector sim apologize and then propose himself. It worked, but at what cost?
