SimNaNo 2019: Coffeehouse [Completed Banners!]

*raises hand* Is it too late to completely scrap my old challenge goal and possibly start with a new one? I still want to work on my current challenge, but in my own time. I didn't know going into July A) how hot it would be(thus putting my computer out of commission during hot days) B) how stressful this month was gonna be and in turn how it was going to hit me as it has. Trying to do a generational post like I want to with my Name Game is just not gonna happen, but I have something else I've been wanting to do to relax that I could possibly make a few posts in the next week with. But I don't want to mess anything up. Hence asking.

I think I'm going to deem my SimNaNo challenge complete, even though I've not hit my target. My flash drive corrupted itself which had pretty much all my sims stuff on it. It had to be reformated, which wiped everything. I've managed to salvage a fair portion of it from other flashdrives backups, except for about 10 chapters worth of PoH pics. I've had to resave them back in order from my blog and imgur album one by one.

The way I feel right now, I need a good long break from resizing and uploading pics. By the time I can go back to it without feeling angry about everything I've lost, including pics that I didn't have copies of them uploaded yet, SimNaNo will probably be over.

I swear, I'm cursed to never meet my SimNaNo goal. Something always has to happen to stop me.

I've got enough gameplay done, and even have the photos uploaded.. I just need to find time to write out three chapters to meet my goal. (And funny enough it looks like I'll be meeting my unofficial pic and word count goals before I can meet my official update count goal.)

You still have seven days. And that sucks about the computer problems, I hate it when I lose something I worked so hard on to corruption. Or in my case lack of will or desire to DO anything...that's why I never participated this year.

It's too late to start the Slideshare dance tonight (there's this thing called work that tends to get in the way of hobbies ), plus I want to re-read just in case. But I'm allllmost there!

And I thought that July was going to be a quiet month to be able to dedicate myself to my sims. Today I was able to open the game after two weeks with too many hours of work.

I have today and tomorrow to finish the chapter and fulfill my personal goal but I doubt I'll do it, but I will try anyway.

Aww, thanks everyone! I hope you enjoyed the event! It's going to take me a day or two before I sort out medals and banners to everyone, so please be patient with me! I want to make sure I do it right! Everyone here did a PHENOMENAL JOB and should be super proud of themselves! I'll also be releasing a survey tomorrow and would super appreciate it if everyone could vote in it. It's mostly to check how everyone felt about the changes that were made and what other improvements could be made for next year!

Anyways, the threads are all locked off now, so I'll begin the final counts and start the banners/medals/survey process in the morning!
