Hello all! Please be sure you read and understand SimNaNo 2019 Rules before proceeding! Here is where we'll be hosting SIGN-UPS for the event. All questions should be asked in the Coffeehouse! When it's time to start posting (on July 1st), you'll post your updates on the Update Thread. So, without further ado, here's how you sign up!
Please post in this thread with your:
:check: Story Name
:check: Link to the story's Boolprop link (if one is available)
:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo (this is required for official sign ups!)
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did (not required, but highly encouraged so we can support each other!)
Also! If you want a different name other than your FORUM name used on your progress banner, please indicate that!

Remember if you're having trouble setting a personal goal, here's some examples provided from the rules:
Spoiler:
Hi, I have my Ghibli Legacy, which averages about 1,500 words and 100 pictures per update. I feel I can easily do 5 updates in a month, so let me challenge myself and say 7 updates, which would total 10,500 words and 700 pictures.

I'd like to sign up with Where the Willow Walks, which I can usually do about 5000 words and 120 pictures per chapter. I've done 3-4 chapters in a month and I kind of push my limits, so I'm happy settling on between 3 and 4 for this! Let's do 17,000 words and 350 pictures!

Hello, I'm starting a new story and HERE is the link where it'll be. As I'm starting new, I'd like to challenge myself to write 10,000 words this month and 175 pictures. I have no trouble writing, but I want to challenge myself on my images specifically, so my goal will be emphasizing that!

I'm starting a new challenge for this, and HERE'S the link! I tend to not be very verbose in my challenges, so I'd like to just do a picture goal. Let's say 1,000 pictures! I can easily do 100 pictures an update, and I'd love to do 10 updates this month! Let's do this!

I've got a story I'd like to do this with, and HERE is that link for you! I don't really like taking pictures that much, as my game can be slow and sometimes it doesn't show what I want, but I want to challenge me to write more! I'm setting my goal to be 25,000 words! I'd love to do half a NaNoWriMo normally! I'm up for the challenge!

Amended 6/29/19: If you end up changing your goal, please denote that and put it in a new post on this thread! This is more important after July 1st as I won't know to check back here after then!

:check: Link to the story's Boolprop link: Odyssey EPIC
:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 17,500 words and 750 pictures
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: Since January 1st I have posted everyday and my updates average 1,500 words and 50-60 pictures which is approximately 46,500 words and 1,700 pictures for 31 days. I am splitting the goal between two stories because I need a break from the EPIC. I want to post 10 updates in July for this story.

:check: Story Name: Masterful Sims
:check: Link to the story's Boolprop link: Masterful Sims
:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 32,500 words and 1,500 pictures
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: This is a new story and I tend to post more at the beginning, so this challenge will be the primary focus for July. I want to post 20 updates in July for this story.

Together for the two stories, my goal is to have 50,000 words and 2,250 pictures posted in July. The picture goal is a large stretch goal as it is a lot higher than I normally have. The words goal is a good target that I should be able to complete, even if I don't post every day.

:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 700 pictures / 20,000 words
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: Well, I'm intercontinentally exiled from my PC with a massive backlog of screenshots! In August I get to visit home for a week, so I should probably get caught up to a point where I can play more. My posts range from about 70-100 pictures and 2,000-2,500 words. This generation is shaping up to be longer than my usual 14-18 posts - I'm thinking we're about 18 posts from generation's end. If I can get 10 of those out in July (I'm also banking on making some progress in June), I should be in good shape to post an heir poll before I go home!

:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 700 pictures / 7,500 words [should be about 10 updates]
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: I'm usually able to get about 60-70 pictures and about 600-800 words per update, so I'm hoping to just keep that consistent and get through at least one week in game during the month. I have so many households in Blackridge Isle now that I'm looking at 11+ updates a week, which might change as I get closer to July and have new Sims moving out into their own houses.

:check: The Fates Were Merciful: TS4 Epic (Main focus goal)
:check:Boolprop Thread
:check: 400 pictures/20,000 words I plan on trying to post 5 updates
:check: I decided on these goals to kind of ease myself in to writing longer updates and taking more pictures. I'm sorry to keep going back and forth, but I have officially decided that this is the challenge I want to try. I really am excited for the characters, and I'm excited to try and tell a story again. Hopefully I can succeed at my goal because I think this could be a lot of fun, and it could help me get over being so self conscious.

:check: Willowsburg Name Game
:check:Boolprop Thread
:check: 500 pictures/5,000 words I plan on trying to post 5 updates
:check: I decided to add on this goal because I want to actually finish a Name Game challenge, and I’d like to alternate back and forth between story driven and something fun.

Total Goal: 900 pictures/25,000 words/10 updates.

:check: Boolprop thread
:check: 200 pictures and 2,000 words
:check: I average about 50 pictures and 500 words per update, and one update per week (so 4 total) seems doable for me. It being my first time however, I might blast past this and have to update my goals, we'll see! I have won NaNoWriMo 3 times, but it took a lot out of me, lol. I also really want to make some progress on the challenge.

Story Name Challenge Island (prosperity style with challenges attached to each house)

Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo (this is required for official sign ups!)
Hi I have https://challengevilleisland.blogspot.com/ which averages about 1,000 words and 30 - 50 pictures per update. I feel I can easily do 5 updates in a month, so let me challenge myself and say 7 updates, which would total 2000 words and 500 pictures.
A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: I would like to challenge myself to posting more often then I do.

I have changed my word goal from 1000 to 2000 so my second update surpassed by 1,000 word count goal.

:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: Because last year I just barely made it to 199. I want to beat that, and not feel like I settled for what I could get and not my goal.

:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 50,000 words and 31 updates (One everyday)
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: I usually do short chapters with not a lot in them, so the goal is to make the chapters longer with more content. This will be a challenge for me since a typical chapter for me has 500-800 words. So I'm hoping that having an update everyday will make sure I hit that goal!

I'M SO EXCITED! :spin:

:check: I chose this goal to encourage myself to be more active in Sims and on the forum. I have had a very stressful 3 months and I just hit the one month anniversary at my first outside the house job in 20 years. I am hoping to finally be able to play again.

I'd like to sign up more than one story if possible!

:check: Idiot + Insane + Crazy = Idanezy
:check: https://www.boolprop.net/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4834
:check: My personal goal is 4 updates! Which equals to 400 pictures.
:check: This is a challenge I have trouble keeping up to date. One update seems to be difficult in a span of 3 months! So if I can manage 4 in one month that would be a boost.

:check: Light the way to heaven
:check: https://www.boolprop.net/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2520
:check: My personal goal is also 4 chapters for this one, which rounds up to about 16K words
:check: This is really only for the personal goal as I schedule these chapters and won't be posting them in July. I'll post picture count and word count as I make them.

Ok, I decided to sign up

:check: Breeze Point
:check: Boolprop Thread
:check: 300 photos/11,000 words
:check: Breeze Point was one of my first challenge hoods ever, and is a prosperity I've been working on for nearly 10 years. I used to update it quite a bit of RL and other hoods have taken over a lot of my time. I, on average, right approximately 1350 words a post and 35 photos. I want to focus on getting some good play time and updates done in this hood to move it forward a good amount and I feel I can easily get 5 posts in the month so I'm challenging myself to get 8 out and write a little more than I normally do to try and push the story aspect a little more.

:check: The Peters Legacy - Out of Time
:check: The currently behind thread
:check: I would like to post 2 updates this month, already written and coming in at a total of 8,900 words.
:check: I am moving to NYC in September and I am very, very behind on taking pictures and posting chapters. I posted chapter 3 about a month ago now and I have up to chapter 9 fully written already! I want to get caught up a little bit more before the move because I don't know if I'll have much time to be in-game working on Out of Time after that!

Also, my name is Lauren, for the count! :D

And if I may add another challenge, I'd like to submit another!

:check: Greenmere Peaks - a BACC
:check: (i need to make a thread for this when I get home from work)
:check: My goal is to post 2 more full years of rounds for this BACC on my simblr during this month. I'm on year 2 already!
:check: I am proud of myself for getting through the first full year (4 rotations!) of this BACC hood, because I've never made it this far - and I'd like to keep it going! I'm having tons of fun with this hood; I think the difference this time is that I've made up my own rules for play. That makes it a lot more fun than following another person's rather arbitrary set of restrictions!

I think I'm ready to sign up!

Story title: What's my Name?
Boolprop link What's my name? (NameGameChallenge)
Goal: 8 Updates: That would be roughly 400 pictures and 14,500 words I think.
Reasoning for the goal: I'm still pretty new to blogging, but as it is something I've been enjoying a lot since I started I feel like I could easily make 15 updates if it all depended on me xD But as real life has been kinda chaotic over here I'm not sure of how much time I will have to play and write. With all things considered I feel like 5 updates would be easy to accomplish, so I want to challenge myselft and make at least 8. From what I've been learning about myself lately I think my updates tend to be around 50 pics and 1800 words so it should be ok to keep them that way.

:check: My story: We've Got Spirits
:check: Boolprop link: https://www.boolprop.net/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4263
:check: My goal: 10 updates. My updates are all over the place in pic and word count. We'll say 200 pics and... 7,500 words?
:check: The reason: I chose this goal because just being motivated enough to update the story is an achievement, and summertime is my busiest time so 10 updates will be a big push for me. I named pic and word goals too but those are just assuming 20 pics/750 words per update and I may end up with more or less than that. Still, I'd like to try.

:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 1 chapter per day; 600 images and 3,500 words total
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: My goal is to get out a chapter every day in July until the story is complete. Each chapter will be 1 in-game day, so they'll be relatively short, maybe a dozen images each. My main goal is to actually finish a challenge story for once. ^_^

:check: Link to the story's Boolprop link: Anything Is Possible
:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 4,000 words and 200 pictures
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: I have honestly been very anxious to sign up with this legacy because I have been putting out chapters for it very slowly (once every 2 months  ). It really is a shame because I'm on the last generation. I average 1,000 words and 50 pictures per chapter, so my goal would put me at 4 chapters in one month. I think this will be fairly challenging for me, but it's still achievable!

I'm signing up with my new BACC (which means Tortalls, too!)

:check: Story Name: Wildwood Heights BACC (Technically Tortall Alphabet Legacy, too, but not going to double dip)
:check: Link to the story's Boolprop link Wildwood Heights BACC
:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: Picture goal: 300; Word goal: 12,000
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: First round of play generated 100 pictures. This means I should be able to do 3 weeks and be fine. So 1 week per round with an extra week as a buffer in case life happens. I want to try to get into a habit of updating stuff regularly and I figure best to start with something that's got no plot and would be quicker to do updates for than my Sims 3 stories.

:check: Your Personal Goal for SimNaNo: 1 update every 2 days, 12 pictures, 2-4 lines of description/dialogue.
:check: A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: My original story averages six pictures per chapter so twelve doubles that, in addition a confirmed update every other day substantiates a release date to be followed religiously. Since I do struggle with deadlines, this will be an additional challenge.
