I'm hoping so, but it's going to be really tight. The skills would be easy with all the eggplants at this point, but all those friends, and we can't leave the lot... Well, it's very close in any case!
(Yes I'm on autumn break this week, why do you ask? It's probably pretty tight to get this done by Halloween, but in any case we're on the final stretch.)
Thanks! I'm hoping for a little luck for the end of this challenge, but so far we haven't had much... I think I'll probably get back to my BaCC, it's been way too long and it'd be nice to play a variety of sub-challenges and build some businesses again.
With all the werewolves in the house, that's probably why you go through a lot of food!
Maybe Gabriel wants your simself to fight him next, gossiping about her after all.
Felix is getting some action! It's probably good there aren't many free spots available. Could you imagine all the extra jealousy if the inmates were woohooing all the time?
You're getting so close with your aspiration!
Gabriel needs to pass out more often. Less fighting.
Yeah that's probably the main reason. It seems that they're hungrier than other sims, and especially hungry after transitions.
Heh, could be. He would have tried to flirt with her too (which seems to lead to fighting with Gabriel at some point), but the clicky person has control of her action queue. To me, that gossip looked like, "hee hee, did you know Katri is locked up".
Ohhhh yeah, it's definitely good there is no double bed in the house! We have quite enough jealousy problems as it is, TYVM.
So, so close... I actually finished playing the challenge today, it's still a few more days but the end is in sight!
I think the inmates would be quite happy if he spent more time passed out. Too bad my simself can't hit him with a frying pan.
Everyone but your simself is on a pretty odd sleep schedule!
Looks like Cecily is going to get food poisoning. She's really downing that Chinese food too.
It really does look like you're running from the fight. Too bad your simself won't get the promotion today. I think everyone needs to get away from the fighting and drama.
I wonder, do zombies have taste buds? Would they technically need to eat?
Gabriel passing out early gave everyone else a nice night. Which I'm sure was a nice change of pace.
They are! I suppose it's partially due to the werewolf thing, I don't know for sure but I suspect that the night transformations make them energized as well as hungry. Not sure about Daisy and Edward, though, maybe they're just being sims.
Yep, food poisoning it is. I had a bad feeling about it, tried to tell her to wait like ten minutes, but nope, she had to go and eat that spoiled Chinese.
I think the drama meter is filled by now, we really should get out of here!
That's a good question. I guess it's a good thing that (unmodded) TS2 zombies are happy with spaghetti and don't require brains. An asylum with them would otherwise be a rather more interesting place.
I was definitely relieved to see Gabriel on the lawn. One night of peace was good!
That was a relief. It would have been a real bummer to have Cecily die on me so close to the finish line. Good thing she didn't!
My office worker neck wasn't playing nice last week, hence the delay. But, now we're marching on again, and getting closer and closer to the end. Day 30 is now up at my DW, I hope you enjoy!
Wow it's hard to imagine being stuck an asylum for a month! I think it took a month and half or longer in sim time for mine, but wow it's just so weird to think about.
Ugh more jealousy and fighting. Your plantsims seem to cause a lot of trouble!
She looks like she's about to snap Gabriel's head clean off!
You're getting so close to the end.
That's a good strategy for meeting new sims.
At least there's one happy couple in the asylum.
I don't think anything can keep Gabriel from fighting for too long.
Yeah, it's a long time definitely, closer to double what I imagined! You got a lot done in a month and a half, with several LTWs and all.
Apparently it's not just Gabriel causing trouble anymore. The jealousy is pretty nuts... Fortunately no heads were snapped off, Gabriel's or otherwise!
So very, very close...
I need to take all the chances for meeting new sims now!
Yeah, Daisy and Edward at least are being happy, and pretty cute too.
As long as I can't lock Gabriel alone in a room, he'll probably fight now.
Thank you for reading and commenting!
We also have another update, and are almost there with the challenge! Day 31 is up at my DW, I hope you enjoy!
Whoops, I thought I'd replied but it turns out I hadn't. Sorry!
Spoiler:
Voooooo Gerbits! We can do this!
Fighting does seem to be a top priority in this household towards the end.
It's fun to get alien service sims sometimes. I think it's a mod by Theo that enables that, but it's been a while so I can't remember for sure.
Yeah, poor sims can't resist their coding I suppose, they just have to go and watch, every time...
Bernadette and Cecily had some jealousy issues too, there was a base game interaction that Cecily took badly I think. I've sort of lost count of this all myself. We really need to get out of here ASAP, it's a good thing my simself is prepared.
This asylum has definitely not made the inhabitants any saner, that's for sure.
Isn't it? It feels like it must be a glitch or something, Gabriel just seems to be sitting peacefully chatting with Felix, while in reality he must be inside that dust cloud, right?
Thanks again for reading and commenting!
And now, it's time for one more update, the finale! This took me much longer than I thought it would (*ahem*, some people finish legacies faster...), but stuff happens. This is my first completed, published challenge ever, so I'm pretty proud!
Thanks to everyone who read and/or commented along the way, I hope you enjoyed the challenge! Happy (belated) Halloween!
