I am Random

I will be using my characters from my Through Colourblind eyes Rainbowacy, to help me complete this challenge.

I have spent way to long away from writing, after nearly a two year gap, and I really want to get back into it, so that I can carry doing more TCE especially.

Prompt = DIALOGUE
"So, have you made any New Years Resolutions for this year?"

"So, have you made any New Years Resolutions for this year?" I hear something being said to me, but exactly what, I didn't quite catch it
"Sorry .. what?" I turn to my buddy, Tapestry, sitting on the bar stool next to me.
"I asked about New Year Resolutions ..." he frowns at me while I just sit blankly staring at him "Are you okay Cain, you seem VERY distracted, by something or someone over by the lifts!"
"Sorry ... yeah ... I am a little. I thought I just saw someone I recognized." I take a quick swig of my beer, kicking myself for just saying that
"Jett. You just spotted Jett sneaking into the lift, trying not to be noticed." Tapestry says before he starts chuckling to himself
"So it was him!" I almost choke on my beer
"yeah, he has front row tickets for tonight's concert." he smiles, then starts to really laugh "Apparently, he is a big fan of our opening act"
"No pressure then!" I gulp, knowing that I am the opening act. "Tap just ... change the subject will you!"
"New Years Resolutions??" he raises his eyebrow with a smirk
"Nah ..... I never stick to them anyway!!"
