Sul sul :)

Post by SirianaSims »

Hello :)

I'm Siri, and I have been playing Sims-games ever since I saw the game in a Blockbuster in 2000 when I was 14 years old. It was the first game I bought with my own money, and I had to go home and ask permission, and then go back to Blockbuster and buy it, only to get in trouble when I got home because my mother had misheard the price as half of what it was, and was angry that I was wasting so much money on a game :nono:

Luckily, I talked her into letting me keep it, and I ended up with all expansions for both The Sims and later Sims 2, which I played A LOT. I got a couple of expansions into Sims 3, but it never grabbed my attention the same way the previous ones did. Every face was a puddingface, the eldritch horse abominations were glitchy, and I felt like it lacked some of the charm of Sims 2, although it tried to make up for it with sheer chaos.

I obviously still bought Sims 4, only to be massively disappointed by the lack of... everything. Of toddlers, of pools, of everything that made a Sims game, well, a Sims game. But they started patching it up a bit and I forgave it and currently have a few thousand hours played, and I own almost every pack

I never had the attention span for legacy challenges :dizzy: although I remember being a huge fan of Candi's Uglacy and many of the other legacies back in Sims 2, so I am planning on making a new attempt. Maybe posting here will keep me committed :hugs:

Hello, and Welcome to Boolprop! :lemonade: :donut: :oreo: :cookie:

Yeah, it can be hard to switch to another Sims game when you are used to, and happy with, a certain look and feel. I had Sims 3 installed for over a year until I really started playing it because I was so used to Sims 2. Sims 4 doesn't appeal to me, but many here love it. ^^
