The 2020 Boolprop Lottery
In 2020 we will be starting a whole new Boolprop lottery,
for all members, house and non-house members.
The current lottery (the colour wheel) will be scrapped and replaced with a more realistic lottery using numbered lottery tickets.
I say lottery tickets, but in reality, there will be no graphic lottery tickets ... members will just be assigned unique numbers, which they keep until they come out in a draw.
These lottery numbers will go into every lottery draw, and there is no limit to how many lottery numbers each member can have.
So this means, you don't have to worry every fortnight about forgetting to enter yourself into the lottery.
From the moment you gain your first lottery number, you are automatically in EVERY lottery draw.
All you have to do is sit back and wait for your lottery prizes to arrive.
So in preparation for when the new lottery kicks off in January 2020 ... you need to start collecting your lottery numbers.
Lottery Numbers are not bought. They are earned and won.
You will only get the chance to grab your Numbers, for the most part, during the Seasonal Events.
(Valentines - Easter - Summer Fete - Halloween - Boolprop Birthday - Christmas)
Starting with the three months run of back to back Events ... Halloween, Boolprop's 14th Birthday and Christmas.
During October, November and December by taking part in the events you have the chance to grab as many Lottery Numbers as you can, before the new year.
The more lottery numbers you get, the more chance you have of getting something out of the lottery.
During 2019
- Lottery Numbers will be given out as prizes in a lot of the Halloween, Birthday and Christmas Events.
- Lottery Numbers can be earned by partipating in certain events ... like Let's build or Fetch Me (when stated and only during seasonal events).
- Daily Numbers thread ... During the events there will be a Numbers thread that you can jump onto once a day to get yourself lottery numbers.
- Falling Numbers thread ... Like Falling Stars (which is taking a break now until next year) you can catch lottery numbers that are randomly thrown by Nevermore and Julie.
During 2020
Basically it is the same as above.
Grabbing and earning as many lottery numbers as you can, only possible during the Events .... Valentines - Easter - Summer Fete - Halloween - Boolprop Birthday - Christmas.
Outside of the events
- "Surprise Numbers" thread ... In the TGBO forum, from October, there will be a Surprise Numbers thread (like Surprise Stars and Surprise points) Each time the thread is unlocked you can jump on to grab yourself a number.
- To be arranged in the future ... basically as and when we feel like giving out lottery numbers during different activities that we do on the forum.
The Number Jar
As I (Julie) will be running this lottery system, and drawing the numbers, I don't feel comfortable having any numbers in the draw.
So any lottery numbers that I earn or win will go into a jar.
The contents of the jar (lottery numbers) will be given away to members, in events, challenges and any mischief we dream up!!!
As Member's, all you have to do is keep grabbing those lottery numbers, wherever and whenever you can..
We will do the rest!!!
The lottery Numbers Card
The Lottery Numbers Card thread, will be kept in the seasonal Events forum (Halloween, Birthday, Christmas ect) during the events, and moved to the main Events forum between the seasonal events.
This thread will basically work like Your Star Card. On the thread, there will be a list of lottery number and the member they belong to.
Any lottery numbers that you win from the Events will arrive to you, via pm, in the form of a prize tag.
Members add (copy and paste) their lottery prize tags to the Lottery Numbers card thread, where they will be assigned the next number and added to the list. If you don't add your tag you don't get the number.
Numbers are not chosen, members will receive the next available number.
Lottery numbers earned by taking part in events ....
We will be policing all of those thread (Daily Numbers - falling Numbers ect) and assigning numbers as necessary, continuously updated the lottery numbers list.
This Lottery Number list will be updated before every draw.
The Lottery Draws
The lottery draws will take place every week on a Wednesday, starting on the 1st January.
TEN numbers will be drawn randomly using a number generator.
Once a number has been drawn it is removed from its "owner". The number will then be recycled and given out again to a new owner for future draws.
The Lottery Prizes
A Member star for each number you have drawn.

The prize ladder
1 = Member Star
2 = Lube star
3 = Pulper star
4 = 50 House points or the Star equivalent for none house members
5 = 3 Pulper Stars
6 = Winners choice medal
7 = A House Star or the Star equivalent for none house members
8 = 4 Lottery tickets
9 = 100 House points or the Star equivalent for none house members
10 = special Lottery medal
For House Members.
10 points for each of their numbers drawn.
A House star for every 5 numbers.
Please do not think that you are being FORCED to take part in the 2020 Ticket Lottery ... if you don't want to be involved in the lottery you don't have to.
You can opt out.
Just let us know on this thread that you don't want to be involved in the lottery and we will do our best not to send or give you any lottery numbers.
Also try to avoid the daily numbers and falling numbers threads, because if you jump onto them, you are basically asking for a lottery number.
