THE 2023 SUMMER SIMS CHALLENGE



From time to time we like to set you a game challenge, so here we are!

For Summer 2023 we are throwing it open and letting your chose your own game challenge to play ....
and you have the whole of this summer (June, July, August & September) to complete it.

Whether you repeat a challenge that you really enjoyed doing the first time around,
try to complete a challenge that you have failed in the past,
or jump into trying a new challenge that you have not done before.
The choice is completely yours!!

As long as you start your challenge during PRIDE month (June) - complete it by the end of Summer (30th September), and blog it for us all to see,
you will qualify for the "Summer Challenge" flair



AND we have something a little extra for you ...

put some PRIDE into your challenge!!
Complete your chosen challenge with an LGBT couple to earn yourself a second new flair

You are welcome to post your updates on this thread, so that we can follow your challenge adventure with you.

A list of ongoing Summer challenges will be kept on the Second Post down.

When you have completed your Summer Challenge ... Please tell us on the Flair .... Seasonal Event request thread --- to claim your medal/s.

This thread will be moved to the Events forum when the fete is over, and remain there until the end of September.



Participating in at least 3 PRIDE events will earn you the PRIDE 2023 Flair.

I will be doing the Boolprop 16th Birthday challenge with Poppy Vatore. She is generation 9 and when this is done, I will have finally completed a 10 generation legacy.

Here is her filler chapter from toddler to YA (she has been a toddler since 2019). Her first chapter is done, but it will also be used for SimNano, so it will not post until July 1.

I am redoing the Wonder Child Challenge in the Sims 4 now that we have infants. I decided not to bother with points. I plan to use the Wonder Child for a future Super Sim Challenge so I want them to get all of the infant, toddler, child, and teen traits. Therefore if needed I may turn off aging or extend the life stage as the goal of the Super sim challenge is to get as many traits, skills, etc as possible.

To add some pride to the challenge I am planning on having the parents be a same sex couple and will be using the new "Have a Science Baby" option as I haven't explored that yet.

Here is an overview of the rules with my adjustments for the addition of infants plus the first chapter.
