Generation Naming Themes

Hello everyone! So I'm planning on attempting to achieve all the achievements possible in TS4 at some point. And one of those is to play a legendary legacy. Which is ONE HUNDRED generation. (kill me now) And to make things more interesting, I've decided to come up with a different naming theme for each generation.


Thanks to all of you, we've come up with quite the list! So if anyone ever needs help picking a theme, here's your list lol

How about, like I did for my genetics challenge, broadway show characters, or musicians' names (I used to use that for my pets.) Famous artists, or sports stars? Maybe video game characters of some kind?

Studio Ghibli if u watch it, Greek/Roman mythology, Jane Austen characters (cus i just finished watching and reading Emma), The Office Characters, Assassins Creed characters, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons characters, Shakespeare characters.

Great ideas! I once again forgot one of the classics: Studio Ghibli. Will definitely add some of these to my list!

Might be kind of crazy, but what about food mascots, especially cereal ones? I mean you have 100 generations, so gotta think outside the box a little. You have amphibians and mammals, but what about fish....all kinds of fish in the world

Oh you know me too well. I probably will.

The only reason I haven't started it yet is because one of the achievements is to play ten different household for 10 generations and I haven't quite nailed down how I want to do the rotation gameplay

Mascots is a good idea! And I completely forgot about fish! (probably because I don't eat seafood...)

You could also base the generation on some characteristic or trait of the previous heir. For example, back in one of my previous legacies my heir worked as a scientist so all of his kids were named after famous scientists, inventors, etc. Then the next generation heir worked as a chef so all of her kids were named after celebrity chefs from the Food Network or other cooking shows.
